    I guess since I have never had to use it - that speaks volumes for the MacBook Pro I purchased. I've owned the laptop for 2 years so far - I'll update if I ever have to . I think it is a must have when you are spending 2K on a laptop though.

    I hope I never need to use applecare, but nice to know its there in case. Apple repairs are so ridiculously expensive, just makes sense to me.
