    Having helped out numerous folks with broken Macs, and knowing the price of repairs, I always recommend AppleCare+. That is especially true now that the “+” means accidental damage insurance. This is critically important if the user is going to be a teenager.

    Highly recommend taking this out. First of all very competitive price. Secondly, Apple is what customer service is all about. This plan provides extended access to their excellent advisors, and protection when needed. Had a small issue with my newly purchased IMAC. Rep immediately did diagnosis, and without hesitation referred me to repair center.

    What can one say about the Apple Care benefit? ive had this benefit previously and cant honestly say much about it, as i had it for over 3 yrs.. but never, not once, was there a time that i had to refer to the policy in detail- my apple ran/runs perfectly, not a time that i had a thought of calling apple in re: to a malfunctioning sys.
