    It's only bundled with the Total Care Package: Yearly Membership/Subscription $. Thus, one has to pay for two years of Total Care Package (set to auto renewal to take $) to receive two years Apple Care, so it seems best to make a rational decision -- especially for those who buy tons of tech a year, could be worth it?

    I believe it is a scam. As soon as I stopped membership, which included AppleCare, both of my computers started acting up and are only a year old. AppleCare would have been able to reinstate my membership as they provide a 28 reinstatement policy but could not be reinstated because Best Buy blocks AppleCare from doing so

    All Apple products are not covered at Best Buy, even if you buy their 2-year protection plan for $179.99. Open box or refurbished Apple product are not covered with any type of warranty.

    Not the greatest care plan as they have a couple of exceptions that won't allow laptop to be repaired. Not a fix no matter what policy.

    MacBook air was an open box purchase was the worst open box I ever purchased. Scratches on the cover the paint was faded, and it was a crack on the screen with a bunch of fingerprints. I never left the parking lot. I returned it and they keep trying to pawn it off on someone else.
