yup it's worth it.

After all, it covers unlimited tech phone calls and visits to my local Genius Bar for the next three years. Considering that I had some issues with an older Mac Mini that the Apple Tech staff had to assist me with, I knew that this was worth it.

Better to have it and not need, than the opposite

Apple keeps their products in top shape, top support, and for a very long time. Go look at out of warranty XS screen repair fees. Then go look at the Apple Care+ deductible. Yeah.
