Not much for 24 months of protection. I haven't used it. But as soon as i do i will let yall know how smooth transaction was for me..

Applecare will cover most damages, but if its heavily damaged to the point of repeated brute force where internals are showing, Apple will consider ot catastrophic.

Usually done during a phone conversation you get comprehensive tech support for all those quirks that can go wrong with you product. They create a case number for you to reference and you can reopen that case should you require further assistance or need to resolve the same issue again. It also provides device protection as well within certain boundaries.
