Will never buy AppleCare+through Geek Squad again.

I purchased AppleCare when I purchased my 2019 27" iMac, and 2 weeks before it ran out the fusion drive died. It took 6 weeks to replace the fusion drive via BestBuy's Geek Squad and send back to Best Buy's Geek Squad, who then decided there was still something wrong, so sent back to Apple. Sigh. Apple then decided since I'd upgraded the original memory my newly renewed AppleCare+ was invalidated. They refused to work on it and sent back to Geek Squad. I took it to a local repair shop and THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG with it. They were able to restore from my backup drive (Geek Squad couldn't figure it out).

Protection is Needed

Best Buy can’t do anything

They can’t. +1 star because they’re friendly. They admitted they could do nothing to help me and I needed to go to the Apple Store. Kind of frustrating.

The downside of apple
