    It is better to purchase apple care through the AppleCare store. The policy allows for a time that you may reinstate your AppleCare should you choose to cancel. Not long after I canceled my membership, both of my computers stated to act up. There was a customer service representative who told me that they could reinstate my policy. Then the next lady told me that it was false information and they could not do it. AppleCare directly told me I still had 28 days on both products but Beset Buy blocks your from Apple from being able to do so. Best Buy does not honor the same policy. I believe it is a scam. There is no way that shortly after I canceled coverage that both of my computers start acting up. I would suggest purchasing directly from Apple.

    Bring a laptop computer in only to get told to take it to applecare because they can’t fix it. Eleven parts needed to be fixed, and they could only fix 6. Well we brought it to AppleCare and they only fixed 4 things. So what’s the point of best buys / Geek squads Applecare program? They had it for a week and never even called to tell us they couldn’t fix it. Had to figure that out on pickup.

    My husband purchased this for my daughter, just starting college this week, and a month after we got it screen went wonky. The rep at the BB we took it to basically said we're screwed and offered no resolution. Hope we have better luck through insurance, as she needs it ASAP.

    If I have Apple Care, Apple couldn’t locate it and I wasn’t able to replace my poorly working Apple AirPods.

    I spent 2 hours on a service call with a provider who clearly knew very little about computers, was obviously reading from a flowchart, blatantly lied about it when asked, and never resolved the issue. I returned my $3,000 product the day after my experience and will not be looking back.
