Warranties are funny things. Apple has done a bang up job of selling AppleCare+ as a value added feature. The fact that they can on one hand sell their products as top tier, then turn around and sell, for profit, extended warranties on those same products always struck me as strange. "We make awesome and robust phones for top dollars! Here, buy a warranty because we're not sure!" If you buy a lot of Apple products or just like to buy extended warranties, then just go ahead and get Best buy Total Care instead. You'll get extended warranties, including Apple Care+, as part of the coverage, and other advantages as well, which will almost pay for itself. Other than that, just NEVERE buy any extended warranty. The money you save can be used for the off chance that your products need service in the future.
