This is a wholly unremarkable movie. That is not to say that it is bad. It is decent. However, it is filled with action movie / comic book movie tropes. It feels like recycled material. That being said... it is a way better than Justice League!

Although this movie is watchable from beginning to end, it is somewhat predictable. Also, the storyline struggles for continuity. Finally, the “powers” the characters possess are not believable. Overall, the movie doe not have s smooth flow.

This movie surprised me. I didn’t have real high hopes for it matching up with a lot of the Marvel movies. It was so much better than expected. The storyline is similar to that of Thor and watching this film I was reminded of Thor Ragnarok. Big flashy colorful scenes, larger than life characters, and an entertaining soundtrack. Definitely worth the watch. One of the better DC movies.

The storyline was weak and very predictable. The actors cast were appropriate for the roles. As a friend said to me, "you don't watch this movie for the story, you watch to see Jason Momoa in action" I have to agree with that statement.

Aquaman looks great. The special can be stunning. Once the wow factor of the picture quality fades you’ll be stuck with a below average film. There’s not very many reasons that I come with that justifies me ever watching this movie again.

I love the DC universe characters however the recent movies Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Justice League, and Wonder Woman all left me disappointed. Great material but poor screenplays and direction. Aquaman changed that as the bast DC movie in a long time.. Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, and Nicole Kidman are all outstanding. The special effects are superior to the other films as well.

DC is starting to pay attention to how Marvel portrays their characters on the big screen, and this is a much less darker entry than their previous subpar efforts. A nice adventure, but nonetheless easily forgettable.

This review is for Aquaman [Includes Digital Copy] [Blu-ray/DVD]. Unfortunately this movie was pretty much like any other superhero movie. Worth a watch, Special effects were cool. I think it is worth buying if you are a DC fan.

DC is trying too hard to be on the same level as Marvel and it shows in this movie. Some of the epic fights are really good but with all the plot hole this movie is just okay. Sit down with popcorn and try not to be so critical.

Very good and enjoyable film, makes a pleasant change to see vibrant colors in a superhero film that have become so dark and moody for no reason other than to imply some gravitas to the story. This is bright and colorful and a fun story throughout. Excellent cast and well acted. Only downside, some of the fight seems look like a computer game and take you out of the 'reality' (such as it is).

The movie does have a few cheesy moments but overall is a good watch. This is one of the better dc films I’ve seen. Marvel does a better job with their films and characters but dc surprised me with this one a little. Good watch

Jason Momoa was an obvious best choice for his role in this new Aquaman thriller. His acting was good and he looks great in this movie. If you were old enough to remember the effeminate O.G. Aquaman from back in the day you will of course recall he was not a very convincing super hero that you had to tolerate just so you could watch the other DC heroes and foes you were really more interested in. Unfortunately this movie really missed the mark by not adding much comedy relief in it. There is only but one scene that adds in a laugh or two but mostly they kept the tone a little too serious. Honestly they should have had him summon a school of shrimp for some locals to make gumbo out of. That would have been funny. I am also firmly convinced that Omega watch brand really missed out on putting a Seamaster watch on Jason's arm where it could be seen but a Casio G-Shock watch would have also served an equally good watch cameo. Really, they just aren't showing cool watch parts in movies anymore like they did in James Bond? Well they just missed out on adding cool points as this movie appears to be bereft of a classy watch. Yeah, I know the kiddies use there phones to check the time but if you are going to up Aquaman's masculinity and forget to put a diver watch on his arm you need to have therapy immediately.

It was easily purchased, good blue Ray format. Played good on my blue ray player. I also purchased a Microsoft computer for 2287.00 and to this date I never got my 10 percent back that they said they were going to give me??

I'm a big DC fan, despite the many things they mess up in the movies. It's ok, just don't give up DC. Keep trying to find your way and eventually you will, I believe in you! Also, really like the art on the steel book. Just love getting the steel books for movies I know I want to own whenever possible; they are really great looking for collections.

I must admit I am getting a little tired of super hero movies that are mostly action with little plot development (although the background to the origin of Aquaman was interesting). 99% of the scenes are computer generated.

Looks pretty good in 4K. It's a CG-intensive movie and it holds up well with the bump in resolution, and the HDR adds nuance to the colors, which prevents this film from looking too much like a video game. Movie itself is a 7/10 in my opinion. Momoa, while somewhat limited in his acting, gives the character a fun combination of moxie and playfulness. Story is simple but fun.

We bought this movie for our new blue ray player. It did not disappoint. The color, action, and special effects were great. The movie itself was a little lacking but like I said we bought mostly this for the experience.

DC movies don't compare to Marvel movies, and this movie was no exception. It was a little cheesy, bot overall good family movie to watch. I wish DC could make movies as good as Marvel, but you can't have everything.

The special effects were stunning but the storyline was way too formula and the acting could has been more inspiring but hey, this is a fantasy movie based on a comic book character. It is definitely a good one watch.

this is a wonderful movie and a great price sold at Best Buy. I have checked the prices at many different stores but not found any that have been sold at a cheap price for a movie that is very popular I would definitely recommend buying movies from Best Buy because they provide great prices for movies that are very kid-friendly as well as family movies.
