Special effects heavy super hero film. Beautiful people doing good or bad things. There is some character development just not very deep. A pretty good way to pass a couple of hours

Surprisingly good. I picked this movie up because I heard it had a great picture and reference atmos track. Those reviews were spot on. This movie rocks both visually and from an audio persepective. If you’ve got a capable Dolby Atmos Home theater system then this movie should be near the top of your list.

One of my favorite super heroes growing up. Not really what I was expecting. Really wish there would have been a better storyline. Comes with a very nice SteelBook. Worth a resntal first.

Movie was ok. All characters seemed pretty childish and lacked any intelligence. Black Manta was a huge disappointment. If this would’ve been a Marvel character, it would’ve been awesome.

Aquaman was small part in Batman vs Superman but more in Justice League. However this solo movie was released after and chronological occurs after both movies. I enjoyed the plot (no spoilers), graphics were impressive, and generally acticting was good by all parties. Jason Mamoa certainly did his job well done!

Jason Momoa is absolutely perfect for the role- of flawed human, fierce warrior who rises up because he must not because he wishes to- Some good points are made about all the crap humans have dumped in the ocean. But for the most part it’s a big over the top entertaining, colorful, cgi splashed movie. Women are given a better shake in this big production than is typical for an action film of this type; and it is A lot of fun. The support cast including the always impeccable Nicole Kidman shine as well.

DC hasn’t had the best of luck with their releases lately but they are trending upwards with their last few. This is the beefy boys big solo movie and he doesn’t disappoint. Fish nips galore and action Davey Jones would approve of. 4K pops super crisp and the Soundtrack is good and loud. Solid addition to the collection for sure.

In 4k in HDR this movie looks fantastic. That’s what made this film new again for me. Honestly I think the story is functional at best and aquaman is a bro. But the pretty alone brought it up to that next level for me. Excited for the sequel again after working it again with all the colors. Also helps that this time the person next to me wasn’t eating ice cubes. Who ever you are, and you know who you are. There’s a place for you in the depths of Atlantis.

I was very impressed by how clear the picture looked on this 4K Blu-Ray. I was also impressed by the very bright and detailed colors that popped off of the screen. The sound mix was also very noticeable as it made me feel like I was there with them in Atlantis. The IMAX scenes also added to the immersion.

Regardless how you feel about the movie, you cannot deny how great this transfer looks and sounds. fantastic Dolby Atmos track, with deep bass, and awesome directionality. Also, the HDR will blow your mind. Didn’t totally love the film, but the 4K transfer is top-notch. I’m sure many collectors will agree with this.

Just another superhero comic book movie but this time it's all under water . . . But that's stating the obvious . . . Thank you Captain Obvious . . . Defender of the already known!

While not the best and deepest superhero movie, Aquaman is certainly one of the most fun and visually stunning superhero movies of all time. The bright colors of Atlantis and even on the surface make this a unique addition to the DCEU franchise. Jason Mamoa is fun and charismatic as Aquaman, and Amber Heard compliments him well as the more serious Mera. The two share a fair bit of chemistry, so it was easy to spend 70% of the movie just following the two of them.

I enjoyed this movie, and it does justice to the UHD format for sure. There are a couple of parts that were corny enough to make me cringe a bit, but this movie is still above average for the DC universe anyway, bested only by Wonder Woman (imho anyway). It is a fun movie, but don't expect it to change your life (like say Joker). It has high production value though, so a great deal for the home UHD "show off my home theater" library... it is a very vibrant title with some very dynamic scenes.

Too much CG and a convoluted plot. Thank goodness I sold this on eBay and made my money back. This is a Netflix movie at best or skip altogether. And I love Jason Moma.

I was going to buy just the blu-ray version of this movie, mainly because my wife is a big Jason Momoa fan. However, I was able to buy this 4K Ultra HD version for less money, and I was able to give the 4K disc to my son, the digital copy to my sister-in-law, and weI kept the blu-ray. That's a win-win-win!!

This is a good Blu Ray movie. Love the factthatithad a digital copy with it. I just love these type of movies. Disc is made of good guality materials & in a sturdy case. The Blu Ray is great for the grandkids to take places with them to share with others. Good product for the money.

It's not a marvel movie but it's ok if you turn your brain off for a while. Didnt care for the fast and furious music. DC still has some catching up to do with marvel movies.

This movie is definitely visually stunning, but it fell as if Jason was dropped in a romantic comedy. didn't feel like a superhero movie... I wish It was a little more gritty

This is an okay movie. Great to see in 4K because of the color palette utilized. Decent enough movie if you just want to turn your brain off for a couple of hours.

This movie was absolutely beautiful and exciting. It was very eye catching. It kept my attention. I really like the diversity and the quality of the selection of DVDs that Best Buy has to offer. I really feel good knowing that I can find movies that I am interested in getting at Best Buy.
