To be honest, I really wasn’t expecting too much from this DC movie since the others were not that great in my opinion. But this film reminds me of the Marvel movies and was full of nonstop action and even some comical parts! I saw this movie twice in the theaters and now three more times on 4K in my living room! I totally recommend this movie for everyone!

DC has not done as well as Marvel at the box office since they went the dark and serious route, instead of mixing good one liners with good action. After Wonder Woman this is the second time they have been successful in achieving some mainstream enjoyment. The story is compelling and the graphics are gorgeous. I bought this because I wanted to own a work of art.

The DCU has really been going in the right direction with the string of it's latest movies. Nice bright and colorful cinematography. An enjoyable adventure. It will be interesting and fun to see how this character will fit in with the rest of the DCU. So far so good. Worth a watch, especially if you are a Jason Mamoa fan. Easily more to come with this character.

Jason Mamoa IS Aquaman. For any DC fan, it's a must own to add to your DCEU collection. Lots of very interesting special features and behind the scenes. My partner loved it the first time we watched it in the theater and she isn't much of a movie-goer or a comic-movie fan. Get some food and drinks out and enjoy this movie that made $1,000,000,000 at the box office.

the storyline was good, Jason Momoa did a great job as Aquaman. For me that was surprising although he is a good actor I did not know if he could pull off Aquaman, or if realistically anyone could. Definitely did a great job. The 4K HDR was tremendous in this movie I am not an expert, but this could be reference level. special effects are top notch, sometimes over exaggerated, but nonetheless exciting. The HDR was so strong that I could see the sweat beads on the face of black manta. If you want a great 4K movie, video wise, this is the one to get.

While I did enjoy, Wonder Woman and Batman - Aquaman made me a DC fan. Jason Momoa is just awesome as Aquaman - he embodies the character . This had Indiana Jones aspects of hunting for the trident that I enjoyed and really made the movie for me. Him and Amber Heard had a good chemistry between them - just an enjoyable movie that I've already watched a few times.

I saw this one in the theaters and thought it was a decent movie. Yes, it is totally fake and there are a lot of moments where that shows... but if you can suspend belief and just enjoy it for what it is, it's a fun movie. I decided to buy it for the home because we picked up a new Sony 85" 4k TV and I remembered how vivid the colors were in the theater... and I have to say that it's pretty amazing at home, too. If you're looking for a movie that can highlight the colors, sharpness, and darkness of your new 4k TV, I'd suggest checking this one out.

I enjoyed that this film was a bit of a romcom, action film, epic, so there's a little bit for everyone. I liked that it was more fun like Suicide Squad and less serious that some of the other DCEU films. For those looking for a heavy tie in to the rest of the DCEU you may be a little disappointed, this is very much a stand alone film. Humor, action, pacing, acting and visuals are all very well done and make for a solid film from beginning to end. If you've enjoyed Aquaman in the other DCEU films I think you'll really love what gets offered up here.

At first I’ve heard countless reviews of the movie. The overall visuals, audio quality and steelbook presentation really makes this a must add to the collection. It’s to be watched with an open/fun mind to really enjoy the efforts the people behind this film made to give a top notch, entertaining and thrilling type of feeling and quality. Buy this still book!!

I went into this with zero expectations. I was impressed with this one. Good acting, decent enough story, but the direction is and action sequences are outstanding. James Wan has definitely proved himself a capable action director with this one. Furious Seven showed me had shops, and Aquaman seals the deal as far as I'm concerned. Despite how big the movie feels, its characters are scaled down and its story is personal. It's fun, funny, heartfelt when needed, and even unexpectedly dark in spots as well. After Justice League, DC needed this.

Arthur Curry is the child of two worlds. His mother is from Atlantis and is forced to flee her world when pressed into unwanted marriage. She meets a lonely lighthouse keeper and falls in loves. She bares him a child but happiness does not last long as Atlantis has a long memory. Cut to several years later and Arthur’s Atlanteen half brother prepares for war against the other kingdoms of the sea in order to become Ocean Master. Arthur is forced to fight his half brother in order to protect the surface world from Ocean Master’s impending tyranny.

DC has struggled since the Dark Knight films but now that they have seemed to learn their lesson that Snyder is not the genius they thought they hired and have brought other directors in to helm the films, they are finally getting some of these DC movies on track This venture is on par with Wonder Woman and definitely worth adding to your collection

This movie was a lot of fun. I was hesitant...you never know how an underwater movie is going to turn out. But if you take into consideration it’s a comic book story and what the director did with the material was pretty cool. And I love a longer movie like this it feels like you really get your money’s worth. I could see the next movie being a bit darker.

Although Aquaman was thrown into Justice League before having an introductory movie... this movie did not go back as a prequel. It continued on after JL events and I feel was really well written and directed. So for what it was, I really enjoyed it. Better than JL and the Superman/Batman movies before it. Wonder Woman still is best tho... sorry Aquaman haha

This movie seemed a little longer than it should have been, but overall it was a fun ride packed with spectacular special effects. The A/V presentation is extremely well done and everything looks vivid and crisp in 4K. The HD audio tracks are dynamic and aggressive and will rock your surround system as well. Definitely recommend, especially if on sale.

My wife and I went to seen Aquaman at the theater. My wife is older than I, I won’t say her age, but generally she doesn’t go for this kind of show. She likes the story and she really like the colors and special effects, she asked me if I was going to buy this movie when it comes out on Blu-ray. We have watched it every day sense it came out. Great movie.

This isn’t a review of the movie (which is fun and highly entertaining), but rather of the BluRay bundle. The steel book is especially impressive, with beautiful hand drawn comic book character art, and will please any comic book fan. The extras and the quality of the picture is top notch as well. If you liked the movie, this is the best way to watch it!

This movie fills in the backstory for Aquaman who appears first in Batman Vs Superman and then carried on in Justice League. This movie puts Aquaman front and center and is an origin story. The action is awesome, the story line is a little slow at times but in general keeps you captivated and with all the action throughout, provides great entertainment.

This movie was an unexpected blast. Didn't expect much from an Aquaman movie, but boy did director James Wan prove me wrong. Aquaman is bonkers in the best way possible. The action scenes and characters are great and the film really moves quickly. The 4k looks absolutely amazing, I'm glad Wan decided to keep the IMAX aspect ratio for the bulk of the film

I really enjoyed this action-packed adventure featuring one of the newest DC heroes. Generally, I don't care for the DC movies - they usually don't have the script or acting ability compared to the Marvel universe. But this movie (like Wonder Woman, last year) is the exception to THAT rule. If you like superheroes, try Aquaman. You won't be sorry.
