Aquaman continues the great trend started with Wonder Woman in correcting the direction of the DC Movie Universe to not be such a dark and drab place to enjoy seeing your favorite comic book characters come to life. The story and acting live up to the expectations of the character and it bolsters a pretty funny side to it as well.

Very nice to see DC Comics step up their game with the recent Superman, Wonder Woman, Justice League and now “AQUAMAN”. They keep getting better and better. This movie gives newbies great background of his origins without reading the comic books. While it does take some artistic license it stays pretty true to our comic book hero.

fantastic 3D !.....EXCEPT THAT WARNER BROTHERS SCREWD US 3D LOVERS BY OMITING THE IMAX 3D FULL SCREEN MADNESS! AS SEEN IN THEATERS... WITH BLACK BARS 2:39 ASPECT RATIO FOR THE 3D DISC ONLY!!!.... BUT IT IS FULL SCREEN IMAX ON THE 4K AND BLU RAY DISCS....SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE!...I guess we should be thankful we even got a 3D release?

I'm more of a Marvel fan, however, I was curious to watch Aquaman as I heard many good things about the movie and I'm glad I did - Jason Momoa as Aquaman I think was a good choice along with the other cast members for their respective roles. Overall, I enjoyed watching this movie from beginning to end and it looks stunning on 4K!

I had my doubts about this movie, i felt they had miscast the lead character. From the minute the movie starts and until the end credits start rolling, this movie had me enthralled. It is rare that I watch a movie over and over again but this movie is that good. Great underwater scenes and steady action. Fun for the whole family.

I'll tell you some of DC's movies in the past were really bad but, Aquaman is not one of those. The story is very good and the visuals are stunning. 4k UHD looks assume and the HDR really makes the colors pop and the blacks deep. If you like Marvels movies but not DC's, give this one a try, you might just be surprised.

If you like DC comics you might like Aquaman. This movie has the most action I've seen in a DC movie. It also has some good humor. The actors do a good job, especially Jason Momoa as Aquaman. There are a lot of special effects too, and they are well done. Give this movie a try if you like action movies or comic book movies.

Oops, wrong movie. This isn't a regular mermaid tale. This is family, friends, enemies and deceit, and war. The photography and cgi here are great. It's as much of a feast for the eyes as Aquaman is. He truly, honorable, loyal and fun. But, firm in his beliefs. So believe me. You'll truly enjoy this film

Definitely a must watch. Jason Momoa is great as Aquaman as is Amber Heard as Mera. They have great chemistry and then movie just clicks. Incredible underwater scenes and a powerful King of the Seas will have you changing your mind about all the Aquaman jokes you may have heard when you were younger. A must watch.

Aquaman was incredibly entertaining and highly enjoyable. It’s definitely one of the bigger films, not just in the comic book realm, to tackle Atlantis and I feel they did a solid job. Definitely one of WB/DC’s better entries in the last few years. The steelbook itself has a glossy finish and features some inner print.

I already had the digital version of this movie. However, after grabbing the physical disc, I can definitely distinguish a noticeable uptick in picture quality. And the audio quality is better as well. In my opinion, you want to add this to your collection ... great disc to showcase your home theater.

This reviewer found Aquaman a fascinating superhero, macho to the core, but with the heart and spirit of an angel. Fabulous cinematography and superb special effects make this 3D wonder (3D or not) one exciting piece of cinema. This is fun and appropriate for the entire family and with a moral purpose we should hold dear.

For the longest Aquaman has been ridiculed for just being able to talk to fish. Well Jason Momoa has definitely fixed that issue. A must have movie for any Aquaman or DC Comics fan. I believe this movie got a lot of hate just for not being a Marvel movie yet it does everything it sets out to do perfectly.

I was concerned resolve might fall apart in the DC movie scene after Justice League, but Aquaman has proven me wrong. It's a solid origin story for the character packed with dazzling CG effects, and although at times overdone, it gets things right for the most part. Black Manta seems to get relegated to a side role here, but it's hinted that he'll return in a possible sequel...we shall see. There's not much more to say other than that if you love super hero movies, Aquaman is a must buy.

I like the steel case for this movie. Makes it worth keeping. There are two discs inside, one for blue ray and one for 4k. But what I really like is the digital version so I can watch this movie anywhere. A little expensive for the price but would be more expensive if I waited for it t go on sale as its already sold out

When I initially watched this movie on blu ray, I found it one of the best picture and sound quality. Of course the story line is interesting too. Some may not like the story as much, but for an action movie lover this is a good entertainer. I had decided to buy this on 4k and picked up this deal at BF.

I am always excited and thrilled each time I enter the movie section at Best Buy. they have such a wide selection, a large collection, a complete selection of all the latest movies or any other movie for that matter. I always lose track of time when I go to buy movies because of the large selections And great prices.

Jason Mamoa and Amber Heard have an onscreen chemistry the likes of which hasn't been seen since William Powell and Myrna Loy in their many films. The action is solid, the storyline is clean and the visual effects are excellent. Jason Mamoa, Amber Heard and and Willem DeFoe all put in solid, convincing performances.

This movie deff had my attention from the moment it was announced. And have to say it didn’t disappoint. Jason Mamoa was great along with the characters. The story was very much adapted from throne of Atlantis. James Wan has done a treffic job esp with the scenes underwater and the battle scenes as well. Awesome movie

So, this is a great movie for many reasons: 1. Excellent acting: Jason Mamoa ruled the 7 seas! 2. Nice story line for a DC movie! And, I am a Marvel fan... 3. The visual mind of Director James Wan, WOW! 4. Movie specials were special... 5. This movie will make you think twice about the beach and beyond... Enjoy!
