I know aquaman was the butt of the joke for so many years in the DC universe. But Jason Mamoa really nailed playing as Arthur Curry and I loved every minute of this movie!! Director James Wan did an excellent job bringing a whole other world to life in Aquaman!

The surprise? I had never heard of or seen anything about Aquaman. It turned out to a Great Buy from Best Buy...and the Steelbook Edition makes it even better. Watching the film peaked my interest for other potential Aquaman films. Great Movie. Thanks Best Buy.

Actually I know I''m in the minority that likes all the DC superhero movies. Of course I just like some while I love others more. This is a movie I really loved and enjoyed like Wonder Woman. Also loved Shazam and can't wait til that gets released on blu-ray.

Aquaman is a fun movie and feel like Star Wars under water, combined with an Uncharted treasure hunt. Lots of funny moments and everyone in the movie does a great job. This is definitely an awesome superhero movie and hopefully DC can keep the momentum going.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. There were a couple incidents where the movie makes Aquaman seem dumb or simple, which probably could have been done differently. Also, the "Permission to come aboard." was a little cheesy. But all in all an excellent DC movie.

I didn't go see this in the theater because I didn't think I would enjoy the movie. I found it on sale at Best Buy for th DVD, blue ray, and digital all for $10 so I made an impulse purchase.... and loved the movie. Now I wish I'd seen it in the theater.

Although the CG was a little underwhelming in places, Aquaman still gets two thumbs up. The story line was well done, and felt complete. I'm not a huge lover of tattoos, but Jason Momoa manages to pull them off and still manage to win you over with his smile.

I enjoyed Aquaman very much. A bit long at over 2 hours, but after the darker Justice League and Batman V Superman movies, this one was more fun to watch. DCEU still has some work to do to catch up to the Marvel Universe movies, but this one is a great start.

It amazing to see the transformation of this guy from the undersea person he was to a “human” and how he is drawn back to the sea one last time, and the woman who attracts him to come back and protect their way of life. Great action and fun to watch.

If you're like me, you're getting tired of the Superman & Batman reboots. C'mon, lets see some other DC superheroes. First we got Wonder Woman...great movie! Now, we get Aquaman! I watched this with my daughter and she loved it (the movie)...and Aquaman!

Jason Momoa isn't a very established actor. His acting is lacking in my opinion. He is the same in all his movies. The tough guy, and a show off but he's getting better. The story line was really good. He doesn't resemble the character we all grew up with, he looks more like a Poseidon than an Aquaman. The guy that played Black Manta was horrible! I do love the ocean, and the CG was great-Recommend

I am giving it 5 stars mainly because of the stellar SFX. The story isn't bad and yes, some of the dialog is absolutely silly (an ongoing flaw in many of the DC movies). It's obviously a popcorn movie so don't expect the substance of a Bergman film. lol

This movie is a lot of fun and the 4K disc is a knockout. A lot of the movie was shot in imax so your screen is filled with an ocean of light and color. This is the best 4K content I have seen yet! Aqua man takes it's place as my go to demonstration disc.

Wonder Woman is right there next to this, but this one, embracing it's own corniness, the special effects, even Jason's take on the character are all great. I have no context for the comic character, but I like Jason's Aquaman fleshed out in this one.

My 1st 4k movie which I bought. The crisp quality and sound is just mind blowing. I already watched it after purchasing the movie. And I cannot wait to experience this amazing quality again over the will term break with my nieces and nephews.

The 4k really looks good for this movie. Not a huge Aquaman fan, but Momoa is really good with this character, and makes him come to life in a great way. The movie and story are pretty good, and the visuals are excellent. Love the steel book artwork.

We had just saw Aquaman when the Blu Ray disc went on sale at Best Buy. What a great movie. Lots of action and special effects and great acting by Jason Momoa. We were on the edge of our seats for most of the movie. Would definitely recommend this movie.

Good origin movie. Enjoyed the special effects and picture quality. I'm hoping there is a sequel for this one as I would like to see the character to continue on in further movies. I would also enjoy seeing more of Aquaman being teamed up as a member of the DC Justice league. Also, a little more background on the villains, as well as development of background of Atlantis itself would be welcome.

Aquaman is a great movie. The scenes from the underwater world were visually stunning in 4k. As well as the some of the locations used to film the movie. If you haven't seen this movie yet. Please see it and you will definitely buy it after you watch it.
