This movie has some gorgeous visuals, made all the better in 4k, some fun acting, and great action set pieces. The plot is a bit weak, but overall this slots in behind Wonder Woman but above the rest of the recent attempts by DC to create a shared universe.

I held off buying ‘Aquaman’ for quite awhile. Not sure that I would like it, but it exceeded my expectations. This movie REALLY pops on a 4K screen and the HDR is a huge help. This is a great “demo” to show off your new 4K panel. A lot of very cinematic scenes. Just a good, fun flick in which to sit back and enjoy. Recommended !

This was a decent movie. Jason Mamoa is probably the best cast actor of all the DCEU; however, in a post-MCU world, there isn’t much to get excited about. While this isn’t a downer, like Man of Steel or Batman v. Superman, it feels cheesy in some spots.

This isn’t a bad movie, but I think it’s a little bit overrated. As expected, the special effects are outstanding. The humor is hit or miss. I fell asleep the first 3 times I started it, but once I made it through to the 3rd act, it was pretty good..

I'm not a big fan of the recent DC comic movies released. I can say that this movie has great visual effects. I would recommend it if you're looking for something visually stunning to watch and not that concerned about watching a great movie.

I am not sure if I was expecting too much, or if the movie was not up to par. I know that I am partial to Marvel movies, but this movie was lacking something. There was plenty of action and the C.G. was good. A must see, but for me, not a must own.

I did not go into this movie expecting it to be any good.. I was blown away by the great story and good acting and incredible visual effects!!!! If the DCEU continues making films like this, Disney/Marvel could have real competition. Picture is crisp and sharp, very bight and beautiful, sound will give your surround system a good workout .

The previews made me not want to see this at the theater and my feelings were proven by the home viewing. The story is not bad but the CGI is bested by low budget Youtube videos. Watch it for the Aquaman backstory but don't go in with high hopes.

I was excited to see this movie because the previews made it look amazing. However, upon actually watching the film, I was disappointed. The CGI was awful and the story line was weak. So far, Wonder Woman is the best DC movie that we have so far.

Although Aquaman has problems (Momoa’s dialogue) it is a vast improvement over the horrible Zack Snyder DC films. Improved special effects enhance the movie that actually has scenes where the sun shines through. Shazam further improves the DCU.

Very much enjoyed this movie. Saw bad reviews for movie and excellent reviews for video quality. Purchased movie for only video quality for new TV demo and ended up enjoying the movie itself. It is re-watchable and needed because the underwater scene of Atlantis has too much going on to experience it in one sitting. The cinematography and story are worth adding this film to your collection.

This is a wholly unremarkable movie. That is not to say that it is bad. It is decent. However, it is filled with action movie / comic book movie tropes. It feels like recycled material. That being said... it is a way better than Justice League!
