A comic book movie with great actors, lots of humor, and fantastic special effects. The storyline was a little cliched, but an overall interesting take on Aquaman with Jason Momoa making the hero into his own rollicking good fun image.

What's not to love when Jason Momoa is in it. Definitely worth the price

I wouldn't have paid extra for the metal box but it was the only bluray version in stock. It is kind of cool, probably not worth the extra $5. The movie itself is a lot of fun. Momoa gets a little weird when he tries to be funny but I appreciate the balance of humor and action. I hope the franchise does well and would recommend the movie as fun and a good watch.

Aquaman is a FANTASTIC adaptation of the Comics. The story is well laid out and the graphics and effects are top notch. Rivals Wonder Woman for the top spot on DC comics movies. Highly recommend. You can't go wrong with this movie.

I really like this movie. I saw it in the theater in 3D. And of course I was going to buy it in 3D when it arrives. I have an Optoma HD141X 3D projector that I bought in Best Buy a few years ago. It looks awesome. Movies in 2D and 3D

I have been waiting for this on 4K to enjoy at home since I saw the trailer and we were not disappointed by this movie at all and look forward to seeing the sequel when it comes out since they left it wide open for one. Love me some DC

Liked this movie a lot, but not purchasing dvds from online best buy. Slip cover said only DVD included, upon opening halfway opened already dvd it did have both types of DVDs inside but no digital code! Called customer service and told me to go to the store. This store is 30mins or more traveling time for a digital code. Loved the movie very action packed!

I purchased the 4k steelbook version and it is a great set. The movie itself was colorful and Crystal clear and that is transferred fluidly onto blu ray and even better on 4k. I love the special features and the steel case is awesome.

This is a fresh and new look for DC movies. There was a lot of action, great acting and lots of humor and it wasn't dark like all the others. I would recommend anyone who hasn't watched this movie to watch it, you will really like it.

Maybe DC finally caught on that their movies didnt need to be super dark and brooding. This was a great film and i loved all the characters used and the actors fit their roles perfectly. The steelbook packaging as always is well done.

This was surprisingly good considering DC blunders through films. The story though not the most cohesive does manage to bring things together and set itself up for a deserved sequel. The action and visuals are a treat! Keep it up DC.

I am a big fan of Aquaman. I bought all the Aquaman comic books when I was growing up. This is a very nice movie however I wished they kept his name from the comic books. In the comic books his real male is prince Namor.

There are many nits to be picked with the story, but the movie itself is a larger than life spectacle, an underwater Lord of the Rings, that completely embraces its concept. And, as usual, Warner Bros. has produced a high quality disc that presents the film in the best quality possible with enough enough extras to make you want to buy more than the digital copy.

Great storyline on Aquaman's origin as King of the ocean dwellers and his close connection to the land dwellers. Heartfelt story which was easy to follow. Great special effects and very stunning and colorful underwater ocean scenes.

This is one of those movies where if you think about it too much, it loses its luster. It is one of the stronger entries in the DC cinematic universe, but that doesn't say much. It is quite fun to watch, especially with Jason Momoa as Aquaman. I might give it a rent first if you're unsure. Don't take it too seriously, and I think you'll enjoy it.

So, I'm more of a Marvel guy but the way this movie was designed I thought it was near perfect. CGI, acting, plot and presentation exceeded my standards. Plus, viewing on an 8k television you can see alot more color and definition.

If you were to tell me Aquaman was gonna have an awesome movie, I would've called you crazy, but I'm pleasantly surprised. Jason Momoa did a fantastic job bringing the character to life and made Aquaman really cool. Would recommend

The 4K version of the movie is a knockout! Great visual and audio presentation! Highly recommended to anyone looking for the perfect show off piece for their home theater experience or just looking for a great fun flick!

I missed the opportunity to see this in the theater ( which I really regret)! The colors and special effect coupled with a really good story line actually made Aquaman not near as sissy as the comics. Highly recommend! Must see!

A good movie . There are with all movies plot holes ,but you can live with it. Aquaman was better than most people believed. It seems DC does better with single hero movies then a group of heroes like Justice league. Aquaman is not one of DC's main stream heros , yet with Jason Momoa as Aquaman upped the anti. This is another origin story which in this case was needed to launch this super hero. This movie crushed in the box office and I heard there will be a Aquaman 2. Now the 4K video is a 5 out of 5 , bright colors, in HDR .I'm not set up for Dolby vision so I can't comment on it. Since Dolby vision needs a 12 bit panel to see true Dolby vision ,even if I had DV I still wouldn't see it like in a Dolby Cinema theater. Our TVs have 10 bit panels, no consumer TVs have 12 bit panels. But the HDR does the job with inky blacks and bright brights. The audio track in Dolby Atmos is one of the best tracks I have heard. If you want to show off your 4K home theater this movie will do the job. Highly recommended.
