Arlo essential solar panel charger....great produc

They keep the cameras charged. Before we got them we were having to get out a ladder and take them down, bring them inside and plug them in to charge and then climb back up the ladder to put them back up. What a hassle! Highly recommend...

useful but no panacea

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initially had problems obtaining charging from the solar panel but as the instructions indicated the target camera must be initially fully charged. The output of the solar panel seems low and does not top up to maximum but does successfully radically reduce the period when the target camera has to be recharged off line. Also to be fair the Arlo solar panel may not be receiving the most solar power over time during the day due to location Overall moderately pleased but does not seem value for money.

Worth the buy

Beware of the Arlo Solar Panel

For the first 6 months is worked perfectly and I would have given it 5 stars. However, in the past month it has stopped charging and my camera now needs to be removed and charged inside every few days which defeats the purpose of the panel. I'm in contact with Arlo and it seems this is a common problem and has no resolution. Be very careful and mindful before you buy.

Keeps camera charged

Wasn't sure how well it would work, but was up to 14% in a few hours and was almost fully charged by the next day. Stays at or close to 100% most of the time. Really happy ... much easier than climbing a ladder every few months to charge.

Don’t think, just get them

Getting up on a ladder to take a camera down for charging is a pain. Not only is it inconvenient, the down time to charge the camera is counterproductive. All 6 of my cameras are now solar.
