Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Arlo Solar mounted charger keeps you from getting on a ladder to recharge your batteries for the cameras, especially if you are in a community with a lot of cars passing your home because the batteries won't last as long with high activity. I have 3 cameras with a solar charger on each.

Unfortunately, I am finding that it does not maintain the battery at or near 100% like my others. I have another non-Arlo brand solar charger installed about 8ft away from this one and it holds almost 100% battery continuously. The Arlo solar charger is at 68% and declining by the day after less than a month. The whole point of having a solar charger was to avoid getting up on a ladder to change Arlo camera batteries, This charger is causing me to swap batteries about every 2 months, while my others all stay charged. Go aftermarket and save the headache!

Took off one star just because in AZ we get a lot of sun so I assumed the solar panels would keep my battery charged 100% all the time. Problem is it’s so hot that nothing will keep the battery charged 100%. In the summer, I still have to charge my batteries every couple days.
