Great rice cooker! Still almost good as new two years later. The rice does get slightly overcooked at the bottom, but this seems standard with all rice cookers. The non-stick coating has held up well but is starting to show some scrapes.

I've only done rice so far in this product. And it works fine. My only comment is that I needed to use more water than they recommend. The first time the rice did not fully cook(hard centers). The next time I added 50% more water (it seemed like too much), but the end result was perfect.

It cooks rice ok. I have to give another pass sometimes but the rice comes out alright and not rubbery or hard. I think a traditional pressure cooker would be better but this works in a pinch.

I used Jasmine rice, and it came a little dry because I got a little confused on the first page of instructions, but should have read the whole instruction booklet first. I was able to hydrate the rice by adding water and nuking it. Lesson learned: read all instructions first.

Bought this so I wouldn't have to rely on a pot or pan to boil rice. This device works well; though, I wouldn't rely 100% on it to switch to "warm" once it "thinks" the rice is done; this cooker just isn't that sophisticated. For the price, I've no complaints.

It keeps the rice nice and warm all that time. I use this about every day-we love rice and I just started a gluten free diet so I'm eating more rice instead of noodles. I'm glad I checked the reviews after the initial disappointment. This one is a keeper.

"Feed the whole family" is a bit misleading as 6 cups of cooked rice leaves much to be desired. This unit is enough for 1-3 people, but not 5. Though it has held up well, we ended up purchasing a larger unit to meet our rice demands.

I ordered this for my husband to take on the truck with him so he had hot rice but it's a little too messy for the road. But it works good at home

Added vegetable steamer a great bonus. Very happy that with varied amounts of water the rice can be soft, medium hard or shelly (crisp). Care must be exercised when washing to avoid ruining coating of base of cooker

If you carefully clean the non-stick pot after every use this little cooker will last for a very long time. Produces consistent results without any hot spots or burn spots on the bottom.

I liked this rice cooker, but had to return it when I realized how small it was. The box had a lot of padding. I went with a larger one in the same brand. Best Buy customer service made it easy.

When you are looking for a rice and steamer cooker with excellent fuctions that will not break the bank this is a great item. It does exactly what I need it to do. Thanks for a great product.

I must not be doing it right cuz my rice doesn't come out very good. The machine does steam your veggies. It was 20 bucks.

I always wanted a rice cooker because I usually mess up rice on the stove top. This has helped me perfect my rice! And I love the built in steamer on top for veggies!

Very good if you want an inexpensive not large rice cooker. Non stick surface is starting to wear now but it has been 2 years plus.

I was skeptical at first cause of the size of the machine, but it works very well cooks rice quick and easy so if you lack space and need a rice cooker this is perfect
