Magnificent film, but the 2K upscale, small nit range and subdued palate make this worth it mostly for the added compression and improved shadow detail vs blu ray

I went into this movie blind (no reviews, just watched the trailer) so I was not sure what to expect. It turned out to be ok, if your a sci-fi fan. If not you might feel that it starts out good but slows down at the end. I should have rented this one.

You cannot walk away and come back and think you will understand it. You need to pay attention. Not the typical Aliens vs Earth movie. Its a good movie with a good ending and probably more closely resembles what would actually happen if we were visited.

If you love action this is the movie for you. Great for Family movie night.
