This is one of the worst movies I have seen for a long time, and I deeply regret to buy the 4K version. The entire movie is blur, unfocused, and vague. It is such a waste of the 4K technology. If someone wants to see it, a regular DVD will be more than enough. As the storyline goes, I hate it because there is no beginning and there is no ending. I brought this movie only because it was nominated for 8 Academy Awards. No I learn that I should be consider such as an important factor.

Don't want to give away the story line. Interesting concept about aliens and human contact with them. A bit out there. Personal story of character very sad.

I did not think that this was a good movie, the film was very dark and hard to see, the acting wasn't all that good and the plot was old nothing new here.

Can't say I liked it. You would have to watch it more than once I'm sure to totally understand it. Didn't find it particularlly entertaining.

Tries too hard to be deep. Slow pacing. No real thought provoking concepts. Whole premise of film is easily seen through in the first 25 mins.

Expected something like "Independence Day" with lots of action, but got something more like "2001: A Space Odyssey". Too cerebral, no action.

Poor sound quality and somewhat boring being voices were extremely low versus high volume background music and movie seemed to drag.

I love 3D. This movie is a drama. I'm not big on drama's. I've only watched it once. I'm hoping it grows on me as I watch it again.

Movie was boring and the film was so dark in many scenes to even see what was going on in the scene. Hated it's picture quality !!!

watched about 20 minutes, reminded me of the remake of 'The day the earth stood still', some politically stuff I did not care for

So many people gave this high reviews that I thought it would be a winner. Boy, was I tricked. First of all, the whole movie is dark. 4K and HDR are wasted on this movie. Don't even buy a Blue Ray. The movie itself is only mediocre at best. And it is so slow and boring that I almost fell asleep. The only reason that I kept watching it is because I thought that there would be a great ending. Sadly, there wasn't one.

This took a turn down a road I didn't expect. Of course I knew this wasn't ID4 or Mars Attacks. Kind of a let down but not bad.

Did not like it at all. Said the ending would make you watch the ending over again. Not me. I thought a waste of money.

For an alien movie with 'A' list stars, this movie is a snooze fest.

With all the action Sci-Fi movies that have come out, this one did not hold my attention. It may be great for others.

Don't really know what this movie was all about. Not a bad movie from a base story but the ending was just strange.

Slow and kinda boring - not a lot of attention to detail or how things get figured out. Leaves you guessing a lot.
