I've seen Arrival several time and when the 4K was on sale I decided it was worth having. The video and audio are great as is the movie. It's not an action packed movie, it is an intriguing story with great acting and I love it.

This film reveals more and more every time I view it. Not your usual SciFi flash and boom picture. This is a thinker's film. The Academy MUST recognize this one! Enjoyed the film immensely in 4K! Stunning clarity of not only picture but sound as well. Love the package. Many options.

And that's a good thing. As a connoisseur of SF movies, I have to say this is one of the best edited movies I've ever seen. Far and away the best thing I saw last year. The fact that I have a child with a medical condition only made this movie that much more powerful. A great film.

This is one of the best SciFi movies of the last 30-40 years! While I usually lean towards the action movies like Star Wars and Star Trek sometimes you need more. This film is thought provoking and enjoyable on many levels. Definitely a movie that needs to be viewed more than once.

It's a one of a kind sci-fi movie. It's about a relationship between man and alien. Not lot of action but a unique storyline. Amy Adam's is fantastic and should've been nominated for oscar. Overall a split sci-fi movie.

I honestly cannot recommend this film enough. It was easily among my favorite of the year and kept me on an emotional roller coaster as the narrative progresses and things are revealed both to the characters and the we as the audience. A great film that makes you think.

Story was interesting and held my attention. Many scenes were so dark that the actors could hardly be seen. This may have been for dramatic effect but I found it to be distracting. The ending was predictable but satisfying.

Great cast, a little confusing how director gets to the end, but overall very entertaining. The nations of the world would be very similar if this actually happened.

i felt this was an awesome movie. i thought they did a great job tying in the alien factors. now i know theres the people who do not believe theres other life out there, so those people will not like nor enjoy this movie. However for the ones that do, i highly recommend it.

Clearly a scifi. Film but there is so much more there it warrants watching more than once. Really well constructed so you are trailing along with 1 storyline then realize that you have been exposed to the real story all along.

Arrival isn't perfect, but the care taken in telling the story is great and the atmosphere, look, and design of the whole movie is fantastic. This isn't the ultimate UHD demo disc, but regardless it's a beautiful film that everyone should see, just have to be patient.

The unique approach to story telling makes this alien invasion film stand out from the rest. Not only that, but the fact that the main point of the movie isn't the invasion, but themes of communication, makes it more relevant, especially in these times of political tension.

This is not your typical alien invasion movie, it is so much more. It is more of a thinking man movie, with such a great story and tone. The atmosphere is great, turn the speakers up and sit back for a great sci-fi movie experience. It is a must have movie in your collection.

This movie has little action I'd consider it a thinking persons movie. Well put together as evident from he academy award nomination. One thing you cannot help but get out of the movie is man is afraid and fights out at what he does not understand and it's mostly unfounded

Some great acting and visuals, not an alien buffet if you will but a nice persoective. Great audio, kind of a dark film visually. More of a story about the lead than the encounter. I would recomend this to movie lovers .

This is definitely one of the better big budget sci fi movies lately. I guess that is why it was nominated for a few Academy Awards. Blu-ray is excellent video and 7.1 DTS sound quality. Some may complain the movie is a bit dark but that is the way it as in the theater too.

To be honest, my father is the one who convinced me to go see this in theatres. I was completely against it at first, but after watching it was well worth the money. So the DVD was worth the buy especially with the digital copy included that way it can be watched anywhere.

The first time I saw this movie was on Blu-Ray and did not know what to expect. I must say I was not disappointed, Great movie. Suspenseful and it kept my interest all the way to the end. Did not know how this movie was going to end, it did surprise me. A must see movie.

Not sure what i was expecting initially but ended up being pleasantly surprised. Looks great, great story, BEAUTIFUL soundtrack. Another 4k classic into the collection.

OK FIRST OFF THE STORY LINE HAS BEEN PLAYED BEFOR BUT THIS HAS A TWIST TO IT. YOU HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION AS IT WILL MESS YOU UP QUICKLY. VERY GOOD AUCTION EFFECTS AND SOUNDS REAL GOOD ON 5.1. KINDA WISH I GOT THE 4K VER.
