This is an extremely underrated movie; most people I talk to haven't heard of it before. It's one of the best sci-fi films ever made and looks stunning in 4K.

The special effects were outstanding. The plot was weak, but not a lot you could do with the situation. Maybe more people waking or kids. Due to the special effects I would recommend it my fronds.

This is a very good production, extremely well photographed, acting, score and special and creative effects are all top notch. This is "thinking man's Sci-Fi" and will open up some great avenues of post-viewing discussion. Get this one!

This is not your typical "alien invasion" sci-fi movie. This movie is really intelligent, deep, and makes you think. Definitely watch the bonus features as they include more in-depth explanations of the themes of the movie. Highly recommend!

This movie is amazing but it is worth it to watch only one time, since you already know what is going to happen and that it's the interesting part of the movie. No action by great special effects

I liked the movie though it took me to the end to understand what was going on between the story, the male star, and her child. In fact, once I got the idea, it was fun to watch it a second time.

I liked this movie but it hit a little weird at times. I'm normally not much of a SciFi fan which is why I think it took me off guard. If you like this genre though I think you'll love the movie.

This is an interesting movie. It is quite cleaver in its execution and the acting is great. Very surprising. The special FX are top notch too. Don't go in thinking this is an action packed alien film; it's not. But it is a really good watch.

Looks and sounds amazing in UHD, but I still wish it was encoded with Dolby Vision. The movie is good, but not great. Contact is a better film about first contact with aliens on planet earth.

This movie isn't for everyone and I admit that it seemed to move slow at times. If you're a fan of cerebral films, just give it a chance and stick with it. The ending is original and something you wouldn't otherwise see coming.

This movie took a while to get involved in, and the message of negotiation versus armed conflict took too long. Message of aid for all proponents was time consuming with little actual action.

I had heard good things about this movie, and bought it on sale. It was decent and so-so. The aliens and the language interpretation, obviously were the selling point, and that intrigued me.

this is a pretty deep and philosophical movie much like 2001 space odyssey. i liked it but its not the type of movie you'd want to share with the gang. i think its just to deep for most people.

When I saw Arrival for the first time I was blown away. I must have seen it about another 10 times since. So I thought I should by this movie and see again whenever I want.

This is easily one of the best movies of the last few years and Amy Adams, as usual, turns in a stellar performance. One day she'll get that Oscar. This is part exercise in storytelling and part sci-fi thriller. It shouldn't be missed.

I am a sci-fi fan. You gotta pay attention in this movie to understand it. By far a different approach to the first contact scenario on Earth. There is on point in plot at the end that needs to be answered but overall a great movie IMHO.

I had very high expectations, somewhat attributable to the 'wait till the last 15 seconds" of the movie tag-line. Well, seen that one before. A worthwhile view for those new to the format. .

This movie is a great addition to movies that have to do with more than just aliens and explores how we think and act around unpredictable situations. I enjoyed this film a lot.

This was a very good movie, completely not your normal alien invasion type movie. It's truly a heart felt movie, very emotional and very well done. Watch it and you will see what I mean...

I would say this movie is worth watching for sure if ou like this type of movie. Yes it can be a bit slow but very intelligent movie. Definitely a good 4K movie if you have the setup for 4K.
