I had very high expectations, somewhat attributable to the 'wait till the last 15 seconds" of the movie tag-line. Well, seen that one before. A worthwhile view for those new to the format. .

Very good movie, was a little hesitant at first but since it was on sale I took a chance on it and glad I did.

It is an OK movie. It was a good price, so better value than going to the theater, and included a digital copy.

This was a very good movie, completely not your normal alien invasion type movie. It's truly a heart felt movie, very emotional and very well done. Watch it and you will see what I mean...

This was an entertaining and smart movie. The characters were engaging even though a few times it got a little dry. The conclusion was good and overall, a quite enjoyable movie.

I would say this movie is worth watching for sure if ou like this type of movie. Yes it can be a bit slow but very intelligent movie. Definitely a good 4K movie if you have the setup for 4K.

Excellent mind challenging and excercising movie, not to mention entertaining as well with great acting by all the main characters. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Good realistic scifi movie with careful consideration given to the real difficulties communicating with extra terrestrial life (should it ever get here). The ending was clever - nice twist.

This was a very interesting take on alien visitation, and communication relationships. It did have some surprising twists but wasn't over the top dramatic. I enjoyed this movie.

The movie, Arrival, is one for twists. You will enjoy how the movie progresses to reach the end, which will be something to wrap your mind around. This movie has a different way to grab its audience who will find the ending worthwhile.

Very intellectual first contact movie. A little slow but still worth watching. Can see how it was nominated for Best Picture. Don't go here if your looking for Independence Day (or Alien).

Without giving it away, it has quite a story that is unconventional in how it is told. If you pay close attention closely to what is on the screen, you might figure out what the big twist is before the end where the twist is revealed.

Saw this movie at the theater and grabbed it up when I saw it at the store. It is an excellent movie in the Close Encounters genre. It is well-acted and the personal "backgrounds" of the main characters are very well crafted.

This was a great movie it really made me think I saw it once in theaters and didn't completely understand it it has taken me 3 different times to watch it to fully understand what's going on this is one of my favorite movie of 2016

This is a great movie in 4K, it tests the black levels on your TV and the sound really gets your subwoofer moving. I saw this in the theater as well, not your typical alien invasion movie. Well worth a second or third viewing!

This movie had great sci-fi action, while keeping you interested with wondering what was going to happen next. Make sure you pay attention at the beginning to understand the end. Awesome!

A good, well made, well acted sic-fi with some deep content and good social themes. "Family friendly" film, though, some of the themes may be a little "cerebral" for the younger viewers.

This movie was really well done, definitely deserved all the accolades it got during award season. We have a nice blu-ray home theater setup, so the music and the sound effects were fantastic. Definitely worth the price of admission.

The movie was very good. As a HDR reference, not so much because of the atmospheric nature of the movie. It's a bit of a dreary, gray mostly. Buy for content, not for a 4K HDR reference.

Definitely not an action movie like Independence Day. I loved it, just my kind of movie. I'd rather have a movie make me think rather than just throw big explosions at me. The 4K with HDR gives great deep blacks on this dark movie.
