Arrival is rare movie that comes along once in awhile that hits on most points without being full of inappropriate content. It's a cerebral film that was executed very very well. You feel motivated to learn after watching the film.

Not in the Star Wars genre of scifi movies. More of a story about the characters with a twist at the end. Good acting. Glad I bought it so I can see it more than once to get all the plot.

Yet another movie I really enjoyed. So well done from plot, to special m effects, to musical score. A little hard to wrap your head around but so thought provoking.

I had no idea what the movie was about other than it had aliens. Two friends said to watch it. I bought and have viewed it a couple of times now. Really good performance by Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner. I highly recommend this movie.

In my opinion this movie is one of the best sifi movies of all time. With great acting, fantastic special effects, and the movie keeps you guessing. The 4K version has a great picture with more depth and the sound is fantastic.

This movie was incredible. I Love Sco-if and the cast just made the ride in this movie even better! Totally Recommend!

The pace of the movie is just right. The ending gives the viewer something to think about. The Universe is billions of years old, huge, still expanding, and can't help but believe there is life elsewhere other than here on Earth.

It was a pretty good movie but not as good as I thought it would be. Good acting though. 4k picture was really dark through out the movie, but heard the reg. blu ray looked just as bad.

IF you like Science movies with Alien stuff get this show. I did not rate an excellent because you can wait till it hits the Premium channels and watch it then. It was GOOD not GREAT..

Great sci Fi movie. My wife and I both really enjoyed this, it is really intimate in some of it's storytelling which I always find to be effective with sci Fi.

Interesting take on alien contact with trying to decipher how to communicate. The plot takes shortcuts on this concept though. Nevertheless, I thought it was good, but a bit overrated.

Good movie and it did well with the upgrade to 4k. Movie would be enjoyed even further for those with HDR capabilities.

This movie Really Makes You Think about if we are alone or not. I would have like to of seen more interaction with the aliens, but I think we will see that in part two. Worth watching.

Though this film was well made overall. The acting well done and received. I didn't think there was a big enough wallop or punch to it all. Still a fun, decent and amusing picture.

Arrival is an excellent movie, the story is very "solid". Excellent performance from Amy Adams, for some reason she was not nominated for an Oscar. It carries you along with each revelation. A thinking persons sci-fi experience.

Not your ordinary space alien movie . The special effects is excellent. Is not what you expect in a movie like this . Gotta pay attention as you watch it . Can it be really possible??

I love this movie in the theater and can't wait to revisit it at home. I probably would have been interested in owning the blu-ray eventually anyway, but really got me to buy now was the extras on the disc - a great package!

The movie starts out with an interesting premise and is intriguing, but as it progresses, it tends plot tends to fall apart. Until the last 30 minutes, the movie was entertaining.

There are 3 reasons to see this film. 1) Well written, 2) Well acted, and 3) Sound design beyond what you normally expect for this type of film. Don't expect fast action or epic battles. This is a thinking person's sci-fi film.

I enjoy the possibilities and thought put into this story. In the movie, the overall view of the world's reaction portrayed is not surprising. I wish the movie could have been longer and went deeper, but well done. I loved it.
