After seeing this movie in the theater I knew I had to watch it again and again. This is not your typical science/fiction flick, it requires an open mind and open eyes, I.e. you have to pay attention. You will be rewarded.

As long as you aren't expecting a lot of action and are content just to watch a movie that is as intelligent as any recent movie that I can remember then you should enjoy this.

Probably one one of the Best Sci-Fi movies I've seen in years. Instead of a shoot it up, it was intellectually challenging, used the concept of time well, and had great cinematic effect without lots of huge explosions.

Great actors and storyline. Gets you thinking hmm, how exactly would we communicate with alien beings... begin with the basic vocabulary and build up to concepts. Must see, oooh and the love story truly was a surprise!

This is a wonderful movie! Good special effects, great story line. This is the kind of movie you need to pay attention to, this isn't just another alien comes to earth movie with a bunch of explosions and random attacks.

Love the way this movie takes you through the process of acknowledging that if a new specie were to be encountered, humans would need to first learn to speak their own language and vice versa to be able to communicate

One of the best movies to come out of 2016. Another masterpiece by Denis Villenueve with phenomenal performances by Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner. Worth buying in 4K because it enhances the visual experience.

I loved this movie in the theater, but watching it in 4K UHD was even better! I love that it includes a 4K UHD disc plus Blu-Ray disc as well as a digital copy. 4K UHD is the only way to go for this sci-fi blockbuster!

This is a great, enjoyable film. The affects are perfect for telling the story. The film's story unfolds and challenges you to figure it out. Patience is satisfied in the end.

A rarity in today's market. This was more about language and communication than explosions and laser blasts, but it still had enough action if that's what you require.

I was looking forward to this movie as it had some great reviews from the National Movie Reviewers, etc. Unfortunately after I watched I was completely baffled at how it got such good ratings. It was so slow and just seemed to drag on. The only great thing about this was that Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner did a great job as the two lead characters and the incredible twist at the end. However I would rent it first and watch it before you buy it. Definitely it is not a movie to buy and have in your home collection.

Everything about this Blu-Ray is great. The video is stunning, and the film itself is gorgeous. The sound design is amazing and it has a great special features section. Definitely a must buy if you like the film

Most viewers may assume this a CGI-heavy action film with gunfire, etc. It's not. What you'll get instead is an expertly crafted, tense drama that will leave you thinking about the movie long after the credits roll.

Forget the trailer. They marketed this film like an invasion movie and It is not. What it is though is a wonderful movie about communication with a great plot twist. Amy Adams is excellent. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend this film. Without giving away the plot I would say this is an interesting take on the theme of Alien Invasion. Beautiful to look at in 1080p blu ray.

I loved this film for what it is not. It is not Alien, Independence Day, or Mars Attacks. It is slow paced, allows for character development, and takes you through an enigmatic process to a surprising resolution.

A great sci-fi story, that's less focused on on visual effects, and more on strong story and character development. Great tension building; would recommend to fans of sci-fi

I am a sci fi fan and this film did not disappoint. I was realistic as well as entertaining. The special effects were minimal but that was all that was necessary. Great cast, a little scary at times, which was great.

I enjoyed this movie very much. It is a different promise on an alien arrival movie. I found it to be an interesting new take. Wonderful not to be filled with fear of aliens, but learn so much. I highly recommend it.

Not your typical Sci-Fi movie. Very good, but kind of difficult to follow.
