This is a great movie. Interesting concept with some good acting. If you like Sci-Fi movies, I'd recommend this one for sure.

This movie has a fantastic 4k transfer. The colors really pop. The sound is also fantastic.

From what I understand this movie is based on a short story, and based on what I have read and seen it seems to be a pretty favorable adaption. Even without this knowledge I really enjoyed the film.

I liked this movie and the decisions that have to be made. This movie definitely makes you think, but I found the ending strange or not what one would expect..

A very unique approach to an alien visit, with some of the expected scenarios but very well planned out. Audio and video quality are near reference and a good selection of extras, recommended on Blu-ray!

Very good movie. Different because it's not about aliens coming and the military going all out on them, but rather about scientists trying to communicate with them.

I was expecting the usual "aliens attempt to destroy Earth and we must save it" type movie, but this was much deeper and more thought provoking than that. Don't want to give it away, so watch for yourself!

This is a great movie that I truly enjoyed. The concept of how the aliens work and think is very unique and complex. The movie also does a good job of how humanity will react to an alien presence on earth.

Steps they go through to communicate with the aliens are interesting. Makes you try to piece the facts together as they are doing it themselves. Very entertaining.

This movie is easily one of the best Sci-Fi movies of all time. It's a little slower than most, and it demands your attention, but it is really good.

A different take on the sci-fi genre in my opinion, but still a good choice to spend an hour and a half. Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner are both great actors.

I liked the movie, however, i felt it was a little slow in parts and a little confusing. The movie did have moments of suspense. I would recommend seeing once.

Arrival is another great movie done by Denis Villenueve. It is a must watch. This is a drama with performances that are top notch by all the actors. The story is well done and the visuals are spectacular.

Another great purchase! This blu ray is far superior than many of the ones released recently, that I can tell you. The amazing picture quality and the boomy bass sound really make this blu ray a must own!

If you like good sci-fi movies like War of the Worlds or 2012 (not comparing them to this), you will love this one. It has a bit of all elements (drama, love, empathy, thrill) wound up in this title.

Great movie but disappointed with Ultra HD quality, maybe its my TV (LG OLED E6) or Xbox One S, but the movie seem dull and not as bright as the Blu-ray version.

I like Sci-Fi flicks and enjoyed watching this in 4k but honestly, had I the option to do it over would have simply rented it on Vudu. Not sure it is a keeper.

Really fascinating movie; great for all sci-fi and/or language lovers. This version included some nice extras about the alien design--including their sounds. Definitely a solid purchase.

Has a twist that is worth waiting for. Not as action packed as a lot of people expected, had a real emotional feel. Truly enjoyed it, look forward to watching again to see what we missed in the theater.
