Arrival is one of the more intelligent sci-fi films of late, focusing less on spectacle and more on intellect and human nature.

this movie offers more intelligent way of dealing with aliens then just destroying them. also shows women have cooler heads then men.

I like this movie a lot. So much so that I subsequently read the short story it came from.

Had a very "Sixth Sense" feel to it. Wasn't fond of the lead female's acting until the end and then it all made sense. Fun to watch.
