The picture abs audio are top notch for this 4K release… but the movie itself is pretty bland and a let down

I love this movie and I love the metal case for the both discs in it. I also love that there is a blu-ray in there as well. I love how actors played the characters as well.

I got this for the 3D. Great priced for the bluray 3D combo

When you read everyone saying "Even Fasbender couldn't save it from the video-game-movie curse" you come expecting a Tomb-Rider-like movie, totally hammy and utterly ridiculous. But as a self-proclaimed fan of Assassin's creed, it was only a matter of time before my husbandpushed for seing it, and man, was I avoiduing it at all costs/. I took a deep breath and sat to see what had been described as a monstruosity of a movie, and how wrong was I! Not only the movie is great, it tooks itself seriously to the point you actually believe these people truly think they are saving the world. It is not a rehash of the game, but all the game elements are there: Leap of faith? Checked landing on a pack of hay? Cheked with hilarious effect rooftop parkour/pursuit? Checked Evil members of the church? Checked a compelling present-day story? Checked Bleeding effect? Checked Apple of Eden? Checked Hidden blades? Checked sneaky infiltration of a Templar's meeting? checked The movie even went to the lengths of showing 80's assassins and a believable story about why the protagonist is not a full-time member of the assassins, paralleling Desmond Miles... I don't know what all these critics wanted, but let me explain them something: "THE GAME PREMISE IS ALREADY RIDICULOUS" The movie plays homage to the game, sticks to it with a serious face, ridicules the most ridiculous parts of it, tells a compelling story, gives the clip-notes version of the overall already-7-games-long ark and does it in an entertaining way. even my mom understood it and loved it. For me this movie totally nailed what aa videogame movie should be, anddoes it with flying colors.
