I'd recommend renting this on Redbox. I picked up the Blu Ray combo for $5 over the Black Friday sale. I am slowly making my way through the movie. Even with a good cast, not a good movie.

Yea...this was a bit dissapointing overall. Good sound but the story just didnt catch me enough for me to enjoy the visuals and sound from the movie

I never played the game but watched people play it, this movie is very confusing and all over the place right from the get go. This movie would not make me want to play the game.

This is a really nice Best Buy only steelbook package. Unfortunately, the movie is not so great. If you're a steelbook collector, this is a nice addition to your collection.

I love the games, so I figured I buy the movie. It is okay, nothing special. They changed some elements of the story from the game. I would rent or wait till free on TV

Love the 4K, love the Steelbook, but the movie lacked story. Very visual, but so was the video game. I just couldn't get into the story, missed on all cylinders for me.

Never played the game, so had no expectations. Just didn't click for me. The storyline just wasn't believable, didn't keep my attention. Maybe need to watch again?

As a huge fan of the Assassins Creed series this movie was a let down. It takes a lot for the games yet somehow still manages to butcher it. Save your money.

I've seen a lot of movies based on video games and I would have to say you can skip this one. The story is meh and it's all around just not very good.

Sorry to say I really hated this movie. I have to assume it was a disconnect with my limited knowledge to the game, but that would be assuming a lot.

4k always makes all the movies better. But this movie wasn't that great. I'd say rent on redbox or just wait to see it on Netflix.

I'm not much for fight movies. This had a sci-fi side to it and being 3D I thought it might be cool. Maybe I'll like it more on a second viewing.

I was not expecting much out of this movie sonce the reviews were so bad. And somehow I was still disappointed. I’m very surprised that the excellent Michael Fassbender stars in this movie. I can only assume it read so much better on the page of the script than it turned out on screen. I will say some of the action scenes were good and the idea behind the plot is kind of okay. But it is very messy and even has an anti climatic end.

Unfortunately, very little action in this movie. But when there is it's wonderfully Assassin's Creed. Hopefully they will fix that in sequel.

The movie was alright, like most other movies based on a top tier game it's more or less like all the cut-scenes strung together in a film.

I love assassins creed, but i really feel they could have done a better job with the movie. It didnt quite do it justice.

Not a good movie, but still you need to buy DVDs. The cloud will not be able to support movies in the future. Read the small print.

Bought this one on Black Friday for $3.99. Hadn't seen it before, not my cup of tea.

I don’t understand how Hollywood attempts to cram a video game story into 2hrs. They they never get it right.

Um? I did not understand this movie at all. Really wish I had returned it without watching. Now I am stuck with it!
