Due to the unmitigatingly drab visuals and rapid-fire haphazard direction, this is one of the poorer 3D offerings. I'd actually recommend viewers to watch in in 2D where, even in the film isn't better, the visuals will be clearer and it will be easier to watch.

If the storyline would've been just a little bit longer, especially once it got into the actual assassin storyline, I would've been able to give this movie five stars possibly. It left out a couple of things and it still could've been put together just a little bit better. Overall was a solid movie though.

Now the quality itself was nice but the story was c average.

Both movies I purchased that were in 4K hdr were great movies.Although I did happen to run into a issue with one 4K movie Assassins Creed it would skip and freeze up in my player and I exchanged quickly for new one and played the movie again and the movie played through flawless.It must have been a bad disk.

At least one friend complained about the movie not measuring up to the game. Really?!! How do you get actual people to meet what you can do with computer animation? I was plenty entertained. Decent action and story. Cast wasn't necessarily big name people by any means. Will there be another?

A really excellent movie. The best part of the movie is the story which is extremely relevant to todays times. The movie provides a scenario where God's gift of free Will is seen as wrong by those that deam themselves as righteous. Who is right and who is wrong, the lines grey or is it. It's simple really. Life is a test and free Will is the ability to choose the answer. You don't stop or prevent a test cause you are scared of failure.

An enjoyable action movie. I haven't played any of the games (tempted but not there yet) so I can't say how it lines up with the game franchise story line, but I liked the retro action sequences and found the contemporary technology construct intriguing as well, as long as I didn't dissect it too deeply.

Being an Assassin's Creed game fan will certainly help you understand this movie, but it is not necessary. The movie can be followed fairly easily by someone with no experience of the game. Good solid movie with a fair storyline. Hope they give it the chance to turn into a series in it's own right.

When I first bought this movie I had low expectations for it. I know this movie was based on a video game and I did not see it in the theater. I was pleasantly surprised when I watch this video in 3D the graphics special effects and storyline was more than I expected great movie for your collection

I enjoyed the movie though I'm not in love with it. I do think that the 3-D was done very well and added to the films enjoyment. So what I'm saying is that if you enjoy this type of movie and can view it in 3-D, and you could find it for $10 like I did, I think it's a bye.

Good movie and great quality ,great bargain must see

I think this film was a good (but not great) starting point for Assassin's Creed in Cinema. Obviously, they could do a lot more with the franchise in the future. Hopefully, we will get a Black Flag version someday.

Only a gamer would truly understand the storyline better since it is based on the actual game. It's a good movie but would've loved it if the entire movie was during ancient times and not part current technology. It can make the action scenes more goos to watch. I still love the movie.

I don't know anything about the video game, but the movie to me was good. I liked the actors in the movie and thought the action sequences were entertaining. The visuals are outstanding. I loved the picture quality of this movie. It's on the darker side, but detail is still prevalent.

Wasn't sure if this would be my kind of movie or not but it surprised me . It was better than I thought . Lots of action and a better story line than I thought considering its based on a video game. The atmos soundtrack was great, wished all movies had the atmos soundtracks.

Alot of video game movies are a bust, and lets face it, franchise movies don't always do so well....like Hitman. But this movie was amazing and surprised me just like the Hitman movie did. This movie is well worth the watch, and although there are no characters from the games, it feels right at home in the Assassin's creed lineup. Aguilar feels just like the assassin's should and having it set in a different locale makes it that much easier to avoid preconceptions because its new and fresh. I definitely recommend this movie.

I was glad to see when this movie was released on Blu-ray. I was just as glad to watch it again after I had seen it in theaters when it released. The only major downside to this movie is it can leave people in the dark if they are not familiar with the video game series.

This is a great movie for people who like action movies. Even though it's based on a game, and games often detail story lines better, the story line for this movie is great. I don't think they could have found better actors for these roles, and I do like other actors better.

Even though this is a bit of an outlying jump from the line of games, it was a very entertaining movie. I've LOVED the AC series from the very beginning and I had high hopes for this movie. In my personal opinion it did not disappoint and I could not wait to watch it again!
