This movie is an interesting mythology of the Assassin's Creed game. It is really good where the historical narrative crosses over to a present day quest for control happens. The movie is well acted, perhaps a little hard to follow if you are not familiar with the game as I was not, yet the imagery is really good and the action is really good yet certainly violent as the title suggests.

This movie is better than the reviews. Going in, I didn't expect much. I knew the FX would be decent but... However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover a good action movie. Great bluray quality.

Good movie but could have been better. Instead of going the route they did, they should have just went with the present past present past scenario but thats just my opinion. Great movie though.

I didn't know the back story of the series but had seen trailers for the movie. I'm glad I did purchase the movie. Right price and full of energy. If you like ACTION, then this movie is for you!!!

Movie adaptations of video games have definitely improved in recent years and Assassin's Creed keeps that trend going. The visuals are fantastic creating a fully realized 15th century Spain. While the main character is not from the source material, there are many nods to the games and it feels like part of that world. Definitely worth a look especially if you are a fan of the franchise.

The plot was good, but felt a little rushed. The action sequences were nice and it was good to see incorporation of the game characters. Hopefully, this will led to much more from this franchise.

I think they did a pretty good job of turning the game into a movie. I was a fan of the movie and saw this on black friday. The price was great and had to add it to my cart.

Past and Future merge for a very good action film. This movie keeps you on the edge and love how the past explains why things happened in the future. Looking forward to the next one....

Assassin's Creed is a pretty good movie. It does a pretty good job of bringing the video games series to life. The picture and sound quality are great and it has some cool special features.

I think the movie was much better than it was given credit for. The spanish scenes were beautiful in 4K HDR. The plot jumped around a bit, but for the most part it was easi enough to folloe.

The 4K looks really good. If you’re a fan of this movie then it’s worth the upgrade. If you're one of those people who disliked this movie then 4K will not be any better for you.

Wasn't sure about this movie, read the 3D effects review and indeed the 3D was first class. The movie got bad reviews, I'm not sure why because the story was fun and characters well formed.

I've played all of the Assassin's Creed games and this movie did a darn good job with the material. I loved how they shot the Animus scenes and the way they presented them is PERFECT imho.

I really liked the movie but I felt it had the same problem as the recent games in the series, a bunch of characters that I don't really care about when it's over. But maybe thats just me.

Decent story, cool special effects. Ok acting. Based on the long running game series. Better than many video game movie adaptations but certainly not the best one. Still worth checking out

My son and I had a great time watching this. However, it's missing something...not sure what...and that's what's keeping it from being great. Anyhow, I'm still hoping they make a sequel.

I had not seen this film and had heard about it only through gamer friends. I thought it had good 3D with subtle tweaks (good use of dust and smoke) with an interesting historical plot.

This movie was ok. Started off slow then didn't really pick up till the end. I guess you would have to play the game to understand the movie. Otherwise, it was good, not great, but good.
