Movie was typical video game movie,if you did play the game you'll be disappointed. If you didn't play the game you'll be lost trying to find out what's going on.

Enjoyed the movie but something was lacking. Not sure what it was, maybe more back story, but my husband really enjoyed it. He said it was good. Lots of action...

Excellent for hardcore fans of the series. Those not familiar with the games may have some trouble keeping up with the back story but will still enjoy the action.

A very poor adaptation of a video game they should have just stuck with the crusades instead of going back and forth into the past and future.

Loads of talent but short on substance. Played the first two ACs and the film conveyed the world convincingly but still kinda meh. 3D looked great however.

This film was better than what I expected from a video game adaptation. Everything is reminiscent of the game so it's good to see the aspects done right.

If you have played the video games this movie is for you. All the fun and cool tricks from the games come to life in this movie. A great action flick for sure.

Glad I made the upgrade to 3D. The movie has all the limitations that plague video game adaptations, although this is elevated by all the great actors on hand.

One of the best video game to movie translations ever. As soon as the movie ended I started the entire Assassins Creed video game series over again from thevery beginning. I was kind of in an emotional paradox. I didn't want the movie to be over, but I also wanted it to be over so I could play the games again. Good stuff.

This movie looks stunning. The acting is par for the course but the story is lacking. Having played 6 or 7 of the video games this movie if based of off, I can tell they went for an experience similar to playing any of the games. Unfortunately, the new Hollywood issues of "world building" and setting up for future sequels, they forget that the main story should always be complete. Still, it's entertaining and if you are a fan of the video games, there's plenty to enjoy here.

A pretty good movie. I started following AC at Ezio so this helped fill in the blanks for what I have missed. Some differences from the game but still good.

The movie was good as far as giving background and setting up for the games. Not as much action as I had hoped for, it seems the same as for others as well

I'll watch anything Michael Fassbender is in. I'm not a gamer so not familiar with the history, but liked the movie. And this was a Black Friday deal.

I've enjoyed all of the Assassin's Creed games, the movie like most veers away from the story-line in the games, not sure where it will go from here.
