I am not a gamer so I wasn't really sure what the background story was.. Thought this was a good movie, decent special effects -glad I bought it!

Finally, a video game movie that the studios got right. After all of the bad video game movies produced in the 90s (Super Mario Brothers, Double Dragon, etc.), this is one that stays true to the story and feel of the Assassin's Creed video game series. Being a fan of the video game series, I highly recommend.

I really love the gaming that the assassins creed series have so when I saw the movie this was a first day buy for me. I really like the lead actor Michael Fassbender and Jeremy Irons to great actors and they did a great job in advancing the story in a slightly different direction.

I enjoyed the movie and will definitely watch it again. It has a good pace with few slow spots. The movie definitely takes the games look and feel and makes it more believable. It looks more like the games then most game based movie I can remember. If you enjoy the games I think you'll enjoy the movie.

Assassin's Creed is one of those games that has a huge following. While not all will appreciate it, this movie helps bring those games to life.

If you have played the game, you will be in the know and entertained. My wife had to have it just bevause she watched me play it.

I'm a big fan of the games myself but it didnt really hold up to my expectations. Not one i would buy again if i had the chance

Good movie overall, leaves room for a second chapter. The 4K Blu-ray enhances overall picture quality and sound.

Pretty good 4K video and audio quality. This movie is based on the video game of the same name. So if you like the game you will enjoy the movie.

for me it delivered nicely. the doctor is mel from inception. she is beautiful. and fassbenders assasin girlfriend ariane labed is also beautiful. they changed the animus to make it a bit more extravagant. i am ok with that. the animus asthetic never mattered. the 3D is good like any other movie.

Michael Fassbender is awesomely casted in this science fiction action adventure. Great action scenes and did justice to the story line

I really didn't believe this movie is going to be any good. I have not enjoyed watching any movie base on a video game, but this is my first one.

Not sure why this movie got such low ratings on Flixster, but I overall like the movie and story and would highly recommend picking it up.

Played the original game and it does try to bring it to the live-action, but not much. Not as much parkour as I would have liked to seen though.

I am not a Gamer so this movie was a pleasant surprise to me and my older son who is a gamer who was doing a commentary during my Movie Time! !

nice steelbook - wish it had come with the 3D (as it did in other countries) but instead comes with the 4k disc... dark movie, but worth a watch

I saw this movie in the theater. It was a little strange in the beginning, but turned out being a good movie. Worth adding to your collection.

Not the best use of the game material. Main actor gets 5 stars, everyone else gets 4. Wish they had put a lot more effort in telling the story.

Pretty good sci fi movie made from a video game. Story line was pretty good and followed loosely on the game, but it felt like watching a sequel

I've never played the video games this movie is based off of, but I did enjoy the film. It definitely has a unique feel and storyline to it.
