If you've played every volume of th game franchise, it's easy for to understand the story. Most movies based on video games are good

I have never played the game, but the movie was exciting to watch and I love the special effects. The premise of reliving your ancestors' experiences is fascinating to think about. Also, hidden societies throughout history seems to be a recurring theme that people like to investigate.

It's a beautifully shot movie. Some had a problem with the story. I'm not a player of the game and I enjoyed this movie very much.

It was okay. Good enough to own if you're a fan of the games. Otherwise you probably won't understand what's going on in the movie.

I loved the fact that they got so close to the game, I thought I would be disappointed but I actually loved this movie and I hope they keep adding to it, I'm a real fan of assasin creed, and if you don't know the story; start playing the games and you will love this movie even more.

I like the direction they were trying to go in with the movie but I think they could've found a better way to learn from the past.

Condensed storyline so those who were unfamiliar with the written works could still follow plot. Good special effects & wire work.

My son received this video for Easter. He's played the game and was excited to watch the live action movie. We enjoyed the action.

I'm sorry. I wanted to love this. But, I didn't. The movie was okay, not great. As a fan of the game series who works for 100% Sync in every title (if you've played one, you'll understand that), the game just felt a little off. The story was in the "spirit" of the series - it just didn't feel "true" to the series. As a film, it was entertaining and visually striking. The 3D features added to the effects positively.

A decent action flick even for someone not familiar with the game...this is a rent or buy one but would say it's worth watching!

Bought this for a friend as a gift. We are both Assassin Creed fans. People who I've talked to said the movie is pretty good.

This movie could've been so amazing! But it wasn't. The story gets confusing and the barely used any animus time. Most of the movie takes place in the real world... if you're a fan of the video game, you'll know how much time and history you live thru... ITS 97% OF THE GAME! But I will say, the action scenes of them in the past were really awesome and done so well, which is why this movie could've been so good.

They've done a good day of integrating parts of the game into the movie. I hope they make one set in the American Revolution

Overall it is a good movie, not much like the video game, but interesting in it's own right. Definitely worth the watch.
