Assassin's Creed is a movie based on a video game franchise that has been around for a while. For gamers familiar with the story and concept, the movie is fine, but for those without prior knowledge of the franchise, the story may be hard to understand and enjoy.

Hold off and rent it, not worth the 4K pricing....

Very interesting concept, movie was packed of action

I couldn't sit through and watch the movie from start to finish without continuing on a different day. It just wasn't entertaining enough, along with what seemed to me as multiple side stories (the sci-fi time travel / mind melding experiments) that really didn't build the characters. The movie time traveled to at least 3 time periods. I found myself saying it really didn't need to go there to tell this kind of story. It would have been better if the story was told by leaving out the sci-fi aspect (mind melding experiments) and setting the story in one time period and building the characters there. Perhaps there is something I'm missing from some book I didn't read beforehand. I doubt reading any book would make this any better.

Not as good as the game but a decent movie in its own
