||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had never played an Assassin's Creed game before picking up Assassin's Creed Origins Gold on sale early this year. I've since played that entire game, along with all of Syndicate, AC 2, Brotherhood, and some pieces of a few other entries in the series. I'm not an expert on everything to do with the series, but I do know a bit of the background and enjoy spending time with the franchise. The Assassin's Creed movie gets 4/5 stars mostly because of the fan service it pays, more than anything else. Does it take liberties? Absolutely. Are there things that don't quite feel right? Yes. Do I have a few complaints about the ending? I sure do. But overall, it still is a great story, with some very good camera work, and some music that I really enjoyed. I do think that if you are less familiar with events in the series, you might be a bit confused, but this really seems aimed at people who already like the series.
