Great for WFH AND GAMING

Been using it for a year now for both gaming and work (since I've been WFH due to Corona). its great, no complaints on both fronts! It's very well made with metal dials and hard, durable plastic. Hopefully it is compatible with the Playstation 5 because I would love to continue using it.

Best headset for the PS4 Pro. Period!

The Astro A40 TR + MixAmp Pro blows both of them out of the water in al aspect. I honestly didn’t think the amp would make a difference but man does it make a difference. Much better sound and much better control! I can’t believe it took me this long to jump ship to the Astro line but I’m glad I did. I will never use another headset again, this headset + amp combo is a beast!

I used to use a wireless headset for my console gaming, but switched to these for my PC gaming. Definitely an improvement. I love the ability to fine tune the audio to my preference. The mixer allows you to store 4 different audio settings that you can customize or leave as is. You have ultimate control on your audio.

These are amazing headset and worth every penny. Footstep cler as day with great direction and awareness and on another level. If you asking will these headphones help me step my game up? The answer is beyond yes. Not to mention the sound department in game development with thank you. Finally they will be heard as they intended. Thus completing the game experience.

A Must For Cod

You can hear foot steps much louder which help a lot for Cod warzone. The mixamp is a must have because I tried without the mixamp, the sound quality is bad that sound just like any other cheap headphone. For the price I pay for my steelseries pro compare to this a40, the a40 out perform the steelseries pro for my opinion.

My son loves them

He loves them. He took the time to set them up properly and make the proper adjustments, based on the previous reviews and several videos we saw. I tried them myself and I have to say, the clarity is amazing. He is 17 and all his friends are amazed that he has the setup he has.... now he has sound to go with it. He had some other real good sets before, but these things are amazing...

Great for streaming and sound whoring.

You also have the Astro application which allows you change audio settings and mic settings. There are mic presets for late night gaming, regular audio, and lastly a mic preset for streaming. You can find different presets in either discord chats or reddit. Personally I love the aux which allows me to listen to music through my phone.

AMAZING SOUND EASY CONNECTION TO PS5

These were super easy to connect to my PS5 and the sound is amazing!! I had Astro a50’s and they wouldn’t connect to my PS5 so I returned them for these A40’s and I can hardly tell the difference. These are amazing headphones and allows u to hear footsteps really well in WarZone!

It is easy to set up, I do recommend to use the digital audio cable if using it on PC, the audio quality is amazing. I am very satisfied with this purchase. The only downside, which is not a big deal, is being wired so when you need to get away from your PC don't forget to take it off. It hasn't happened to me yet.
