Very solid and comfortable gaming headset. The controls are very easy and simple to adjust during a game. Love being able to turn my party down and listen to more of the gameplay. For any gamers out here, i would highly recommend you buy this headset. Solid price to performance ratio.

My personal favorite headset. I’ve had the previous gen and wearing those down I switched around using hyper xs which are great but I feel work better on pc. Also turtle beach’s with poor quality construction, and the official Sony golds and plats. I feel the a40tr has slightly better sound quality over the a50s. Unless wireless is a requirement then a40s are way better than a50s. These 2019 v2 seem to be a tad better on clarity and highs imo. I hear good things about the steel series but I find their aesthetics less appealing.

I love this headset. Originally had the A50s when I played on PS4 but bought these when I switched to PC. Mixamp is wonderful and easy to use and sound quality is terrific

Plug and play studio level sound awesome. Well, gaming clear through Mike and very portable to move from system to system. Can't say more other than it's spectacularly awesome

Exceptional quality! It's what you expect. Quit messing around and buying new headsets every year. These have incredible sound and noise cancelling. So comfortable!

I love the mixamp. You can dial in footsteps to attenuate better in fps games. Also the headset is very comfy with good sound. No regrets at all!

Best headset i’ve ever owned, highly recommend as a competitive player

I wanna start by sayin the packaging is amazing,im a sucker for presentation when unboxing products and this one hits the spot. The upside is the customizability and function of the headset. The downside is its not fully PS5 compatible (must purchase an hdmi splitter). I grew up with turtle beaches so this is my first astro headset and i can say its a great headset out the box ,for PC and PS4 only.

it is really good!!! really comfortable and you can pick up a lot of footsteps in cod mw. which i use it for. recommended for anyone who wants to step up there gaming.

Let me preface this review by stating that I have an industrial piercing, it is the bar that goes across the top of the ear, to a lower part of the ear. I was using an xbox headphones that plug into the controller, and that hurt SO much... I had to get headphones that fit more comfortably. These were the number one choice, not only are the ear pads so nice and soft, they fit so well, and it doesn't bother my piercings at all. The MixAmp controller is also fun to use, it has the volume, and then a volume/voice control. So if you're gaming or talking to people and playing games or listening to music, on discord whatever, you can turn up the volume for people who are talking vs the other sounds in the background. The mic works great, people can hear me perfectly, I never realized how awful the xbox connected to the controller sounded vs this one. The voice, the sound, everything is so much clearer and cleaner. I would totally recommend this if you can splurge, or if you need bigger ear holes. :D Also the quality is superior, feels super expensive, not cheapy and plastic.

Best for your buck , really worth the money. The mic quality is excellent, being able to adjust game chat and game volume really helps when you are in a clutch situation.

Plain and simple, will never stray away from Astro gaming. Tried out the Hyperx cloud alphas, good sound but the quality and sound is far superior with the A40s. Which should be for price difference. I’ve had the A50s but for me, the A40s with the Mixamp pro. Beats everything out there.

Great for console gaming! Best headset hands down when gaming on any console.
