I’m taking this back today to get the 600 stealths.

You could hear everything to the tiniest detail. Had to return it unfortunately, the mixer amp that plugs into the controller completely blocks the aux port for the headphones jack, which Ineeded to stream to a capture card.

I know many people that have great experiences with these but I guess I was unlucky

I didn’t want to mess with all the wires with having an amp so when I saw this I had to pick it up. Astros will be the only headphones I will ever use while gaming.

I really enjoyed the quality of both the headphones and the mic pickup. You can also customize the headset, the pads are easy to replace, and the overall unit feels professional and durable. The MixAmp M80 works wonderfully on the XBox controller, allowing equalization of the sound to fit your needs - with a big 'ol volume dial and mute button right there for quick use. Note: If using on a PC, sound doesn't work with the M80 and XBox controller connected via Bluetooth, but this is a limitation of the controller, not the M80 itself. The only real criticism I have for this unit is that, if you only want to use the headset (without the MixAmp M80), the included cable is far too short to comfortably reach your desktop. But otherwise this thing is fantastic! The quality is so good, I was going to also use it as a work headset - until my son informed me that the very notion was offensive.
