Audio is good but the mic picks up the audio from the headset and everyone can hear your game.

I prefer this one over the next step up, the chat on this model works 100% of the time for me on my Xbox one X

I'm not that into the futuristic look, they could be simpler but they sound great and are really light.

Hubby bought these for himself & yes it blocks out noise for him but I can still hear him screaming at the game, lol!

I upgraded to this headset after several broken Turtle Beaches. High quality material and works great!

This headset is very comfortable with plenty of padding. I love the fact that pretty much every part of it can be customized with mod kits that are available separately. It has the ability to enhance the voice or games sound depending on personal preference. Also 3 different settings for the equalizer to really enhance the sound so there is a setting to please everyone. I love the fact that the microphone can be muted. The led lights easily identify what setting you are at with the push of a button. The volume is fully adjustable as well which makes it awesome! You can hear every little sound in the game including ones you never knew existed!! My fiancee loves sniper games and with the headset on he was shocked at how many things he never heard in it before. I love that whoever is up first (before the sun) can play without waking up the entire household allowing for game playing and peace and quiet!! The headset is very light weight and user friendly though the directions could be better. Overall I had it setup and running in under 10 minutes. Great product!!

The quality of these is very nice with a solid feel and a good amount of metal not just plastic. I tried them on both my XBOX One X as well as on my Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop. I played a variety of games from racing with Horizon 4 to some old school FPS by playing Unreal Tournament. The headset comes with a mixer that allows you to plug it directly into the controller and adjust the volume or few different EQ settings from right on the mixer plugged into the controller. It also comes with another RCA cable to plug directly into the headphone/microphone jack on a laptop. Sound quality was as to be expected from an Astro headset and I found it to be plenty loud when playing various games. It was nice being able to quickly adjust the volume from the amp plugged into my controller. One bonus to this headset vs. my Turtle Beach headset is that it doesn't have to be plugged in via USB to the XBOX or PC. So even though it isn't wireless using 2.4 GHz or 5.8 GHz like other headsets it does give the freedom and mobility of a fully wireless headset. It also has additional accessories that can be ordered such as a mod kit that allows them to become a noise isolation headset for tournaments. They also have an option to order custom speaker tags to replace the standard ones on the ear pieces to give them a look all their own or put your own custom picture on. Overall they are a very comfortable headset with a good dynamic range and a few preset EQ's built into the AMP. They look very sharp as well and are very comfortable for those multi-hour gaming sessions. Highly recommended.
