Barely two months and its already broken. The toggles and D pad just stopped working correctly.

Would be better if the headphones were more comfortable

The audio jack broke the first day. I ended buying a new one but if something cost this much it should work.

This headset did not work I need to go exchange it Only worked for 1 minute doesn’t charge!

They cut all the time in and out I’ve updated it still doesn’t work properly

The Astro Gaming - A40 TR Wired Stereo Gaming Headset for Xbox One is a solid, high-quality gaming headset. Especially when it comes to sound. Approaching footsteps and spatial direction were noticeably improved. In group contexts, others remarked on the improvement in the clarity of voice communications. The on-controller MixAmp M80 makes it easy to adjust settings while playing. Only negative is that it took more effort than normal to adjust the headset fit to where it was comfortable. Once adjusted, though, it felt great. All-in-all a quality, high-end gaming headset with welcome features.

I have used many different gaming headsets in the past 15 years playing xbox, and these Astro A40's are the best for a wired headset. First thing is the build quality. They are very well built, especially to withstand drops or throwing, which could happen accidentally or purposely when gaming! The ear cushion pads and head cushion pad are a great quality and very breathable. They don't get very hot and stay comfortable for many hours of gaming. They also work very great as a regular audio headset, which a separate cord is included to do that, though it is not a very long cord. Plugging the mixamp into the xbox controller is pretty easy and straightforward, and there are 3 different equalizer audio settings to choose from once the controller is powered on. You can click the voice and game buttons to control how much balance you want between voice chat and the game volume itself, which is indicated by a light bar on the mix amp that moves when you click the buttons. On the bottom of the mixamp is the volume control and in the center is the mute button, which will turn red when muted. The volume control will also move a light bar on the mixamp to show how loud the volume is. The microphone boom is pretty flexible and does a good job staying where you want it. People have told me online that the mic quality of these Astro's is great, crisp and clear, and that the mic sounds way better than another name brand headset maker that likes turtles. The game sound quality is absolutely amazing and so clear and pinpoint surround where noises are around you in the game. Overall the price is well worth what you are getting for a headset with great build quality,comfort, sound, mic, and mixamp controlls. Would highly recommend

This headset sounds fantastic. It's loud and clear. Friends can really tell the difference on the other end when chatting and playing. I use it with the PC, not XBox. Listening to music and movies is a real treat also. The ear comfort is like no other headset I've used before, no pressure at all. The one con is the weight on top of my head. It's a bit heavy and I find myself holding it up off my head to relieve the weight quite often.

Love the headset. Super comfy. But the cable with the mix amp m80 was made to break within 6 months. super flimsy and weak

Very comfortable and well made and sturdy. Audio in the v2.0 is outstanding combined with the Dolby Atmos installed with the activation code included with the headset. Makes a world of difference playing through tv speakers then using this headset is night and day and not looking back ! If you are in the market for a quality headset and on the fence about the price go ahead and pull the trigger you won be disappointed

Great sound quality Overall the best headset I ever bought.

I want to say that I am in no way an expert when it comes to headsets. I've been through a few, but I still know very little about what makes a great headset. Naturally, headsets I believe should be comfortable and have great sound? I wanted to love this headset. However, they are not comfortable for me, and the sound quality is fair at best. Also now the cable seems to be failing in some way, frequently when I turn my head parts of my audio cuts out. I will be listening, and suddenly, all of the spoken words go faint, and there is only a hint of background noise. If you can look past these issues… they look good, and with some tweaking, they can be a Good headset.

I rate it a 3 just because the fact that after a while of using it the headset would static amd crackle alot and sometimes it would be perfect but my experience was bad but the sound quality was somewhat good.

When you go and buy 150 headset, it is suppose to be all be there! But no take it out the box and the top pad is not there, so now i am having to use the old one off of my other astros to use on the new ones! I am about dont with buying things form best buy!! Everyone make sure you check your box before you leave the store!

Bad headset(according to my brother), everyone in party chat hears echoing from him.(if he turned the headset game volume down they probly wouldn't) Said he paid $200 for the headset he shouldn't have to turn down the volume.
