Excellent Sound and Quality, the only issue is the setup which requires you to connect to both a Computer to receive firmware updates and other updates and then to the Xbox for the same. If you can get through all of the steps, it's worth it.

Excellent headset, very comfortable with great mic. MixAmp had an issue with firmware update but Astro is sending out a replacement.

I really like it and the controls only reason I'm not giving it 5 is because it wouldn't connect right away and I had to watch a lot of video on YouTube and I mean alot because none so this style of amp really then I finally gave up and restarted my Xbox and it worked. Haven't used it for my pc but I'm sure it's just as good if not better since you can customize the sound more on the pc definitely would recommend. Oh another thing they don't come updated I had to connect to to my pc to update it before I could do anything

Love this Headset I had a turtle beach and with these I know can create my custom configs and hear footsteps much better and directionally. Comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.

Probably the best sounding headphones on the market. Very comfortable to wear and ease of use. I was using the steel series arctis 9x and went with these for my Xbox series one x

Tried these headphones a while ago at a friends house and they were the most comfortable headphone I’ve ever worn. Sound is fantastic as well and the look is very sleek

It was a good headset and I think it’s good for the money! If u want a good headset that’s not to expensive this is the one. Did break after a year but no other problems with it.

Really really enjoying this Astro headset! I play on Xbox One X. This is my first wired headset in a very long time, but the MixAmp Pro TR makes this headset definitely amazing. The audio is very crisp and easy to hear footsteps and things like that in games like Call of Duty. I previously purchased the Astro A40TR X-edition headset a few days before getting this one and the sound is just way better with the MixAmp Pro TR, thanks to Astro Audio V2. Also Dolby Atmos for Headphones is amazing :) I will likely purchase the mod kit for it at a later date just to get more of a noise-cancelling sound.

With this awesome headset you will never have to listen to something you don't wana hear again until your mom comes in and tells you its 9:30 and you got school in the morning!

This is a great update to the previous model. I have a lot of headsets and this with the mixamp is one of the best you can get in one package. Yes there are better headsets but this one is really solid.

I’ve always went relatively cheap on headsets spending less than one hundred dollars. Never again. This headset’s sound quality and comfort are worlds better than anything I have ever owned.

This is a really nice set with some rich sound that comes through. A quality product that delivers on what you paid for. My only gripe is the amp can’t be turned off. Overall though, a great purchase. It was a little tough getting it work on the Xbox series x but that was because of an issue with Xbox and not the headphones.

I love how the sound is. It is so crisp and clear. It is not to tight on the head. It good quality. I use it for gaming and I love it. It is so worth the money.

Awesome head phones! After picking up the Xbox series x I couldn’t connect my Astro A50 gen 3. Went to Astro Support to download the command center. CC didn’t recognize they needed a firmware update. Went to Microsoft store to download the command center. It did recognize I needed a firmware update. Clicked on update only error reports. Surrendered afte 8 hours. Picked up a different brand of headphones, worked fine but didn’t enjoy the sound quality. Returned them for A40 with the mix amp pro. Ran into the same issues for firmware update. 4 Starr’s are due to Astro. They should at least make it easy to do a manual download for firmware update rather then making you contact support. Whom can take days to respond. Found the file on YouTube, followed the manual update and they now work. I almost have my sounds back. To get full functionality will need an hdmi audio extractor to connect optical cable. Awesome headset and I like. Astro just needs to make the firmware update a bit more consumer friendly when the automatic update fails.
