Great for both Xbox and PC
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Set up is a little bulky but very comfortable. Works great to switch back and forth between xbox and computer. Just leave the mixer plugged into the PC and plug the headset up directly into the controller for xbox. Sound quality is great.

Best Headphones!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a really soft voice and most headphones struggle to pick up my voice, this is the first pair that people can hear me talk! Also the sound quality is the best ever, i am able to hear footsteps and tell where shots are coming from in games.

Wont work for Xbox series x
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great headset for the Xbox one ive been using this for nearly 2 years now but unfortunately this headset will no longer work properly on the series x as the headset requires an optical audio port for the mix amp which the series x doesnt have. Without it only party chat will play through the headset and not in game audio therefore you have to wear the headset over one ear so you can hear the tv and its a hassle.

Best headset I’ve ever bought in my life!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Through the years of my gaming career I’ve used multiple different head sets to turtle beach to Microsoft head sets I even had the Astro A10’s. But this headset took my gaming to the next level easy to set up and the in game sound quality is so insane I can actually hear the person playing on the other end mother and father banging one out 3 rooms away. Hands down 10 outta 10 would recommend to anyone and myself would buy this product again!

Great gaming headset combo but when on sale
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these on sale for $200 and that's the only price I am willing to pay for this combo, at $250 I'd probably look for alternatives. The headphone itself is great, the sound is really good for the gaming even when I used just the headset with my ps4 controller. The build quality stands out to me which is very unique and that combined with the looks attracts me to these gaming headphones more than any other.

A40’s TR Incredible
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have used them almost a month now. Upgrade from the A10’s. Has 4 sound profiles you can toggle. A little research on You Tube to locate best settings for Call Of Duty. Being able to hear the opponent’s foot steps with such clarity is amazing. I also am very pleased with the sound profile for Theatre when watching Netflix or Disney+ on the monitor. You get the total immersion into the movie sound. Incredible.

Exactly what I was looking for!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been using these headphones for about a week and a half now. Love the way these headphones sound. I've been using them with the Dolby audio and in my opinion they sound great. Perfect lows and mids, but could stand to have a bit more punch in the h highs. The only thing that I wish is that they were true 5.1 or 7.1 headphones and not simulated surround sound.

Good headphones, be patient with software
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first exposure to wired headphones. I was running a Turtlebeach Stealth 700 PS4 Gen2, but the cheap brittle plastic broke. These are pretty good, however the “headphone surround sound” mode doesn’t fully work, I always default to Bypass mode (the star icon) and it works better and sounds less distorted. The software is a steep learning curve, but once you do your homework it’s honestly a pretty good bang for your buck considering they give you both headphones AND a mixer. I’ve had it for a little over a month now I think? It’s worked great, and ear muffs are a soft cotton and they’re magnetically attached to cleaning them or replacing them for new ones in case of oily skin like i have is also easy to do.

BEST QUALITY LONGEVITY
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought my Astro headphones with Mixamp over 2 years ago and they still sound brand new, no sound distortion like other brands for the same price. Definitely worth investing in Astros if you don’t have a pair yet.

To much hype
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TBh my buddy gave me his a40 3rd gen as a gift now jumping into the 4 gen ill give you the real honest review everybody is way over prasing this 4th gen. 1st off the headset is nice no doubt but look closely everything is poop plastic..... like legit. for 270$... come on astro... 2nd the sound they say is v2.... i played with the stock vs the 3rd gen vs 4th the pass gen i love it super loud and sharp example in fortnite when you fire a heavy sniper you hear its super loud and a bang. on the 4th gen new a40 stock setting it sound like something is holding it back i admit it does sound maybe little more clear but its missing that bass or bang ..... i come from using jaybird beats razer etc. so i know low mid and high this 4th gen imo isnt there i would not buy these for 270$ with tax.... if you buy make sure you purchase somewhere you can return. Also for all the ppl asking how to download the command center its on windows store you gotta download and yes i tested this with the dolby sound on.
