This is my 3rd pair of these Astros over the years. I absolutely love them (yes even with the high price point) as they always worked the best for me. I will admit if you drop them or have them around little kids you risk the head pad popping in and out more often than you would like. That being said, they are still worth the price point in my opinion , the only thing I would add to these is maybe the ability to mute external sounds as they don’t have that. The mixer is great, I still have my other 2 (all of them work still, no matter which is plugged into) they hold up if you treat them right!

Wired is always the best way to go if streaming or competing. Always recommended look at specific tuning for games like COD for foot steeps instead of presets. Cycled through 3 headsets before ultimately settling on this one, do not regret it. Worth it, gets the job done, doesn't dissapoint.

Good sound and quality. Way better than the two Razors I had in the past. My original Tiamats were almost $300 and they broke with 6 months - 3 times!

Gift for our son and he has had no issues with it.

Best investment for gaming. I'm a big razer fan so I tested all of their headsets and non of it can compare to the astro a40 /w the mixamp. Footsteps in COD is clearer than ever! Only downside, if you're using it for console. You must update the headset/mixamp using a pc.

I've had stealth 700's, rig 800 and these are the best in my opinion! I love the mix amp pro, I've used these on my Xbox and now that I've switched over to pc I on have to plug in the usb instead of usb and optical cord. I don't think I'll switch after having these lol

Let me start off by saying these are the nicest headphones I ever put on my head to date. I'm using them on pc and they work amazingly. Just make sure you download the software from Astro and update the MixAmp if you want them to work properly for Xbox as well its super easy to do. I owned 3 different high-end headsets this month and returned them all until I found these at my local bestbuy. They are high quality works of art and I could never go back to steelseries or razer and these. If you are trying to decide dropping the money on these don't hesitate if you got it. I regret not just going with Astro years ago now after owning some rigs for the last 3 years. Also comes with 2 years of Dolby so thats awesome as well. Thanks to the guy that recommended these to me after so many failed attempts on expensive headsets that sounding like a Walkman from the 90s. Also you can mod them and replace the ear cups when they wear out down the line.

Easy to install and use and the sound quality is better than any head set I have used. And the people I play with all say I sound so much clearer

Great sound from these headphones. The amp makes a big difference. Using with an Xbox Series X and get free Dolby Atmos when using the Dolby app. Wire is long enough to use while sitting on the couch. Obviously not recommended if you need wireless due to your set up

I had these for two days and it out performs all of my headsets. I have corsair, logitech, steelseries, and razer brand headsets and those don't compare to this headset. The MixAmp Pro that came with it is the best thing ever for headsets.

worth every penny, if you’re looking for an almost high end pnp headset. had these for some time and used them initially on a xbx then to pc. both sounded great and really no tweaking was needed. i since then have parted away from this but i would definitely recommend this

This headset is everything you expect it to be. It is certainly worth the money for someone that is looking for the best possible experience on a console, there is nothing you can't hear with this headset . The Mixamp is a nice touch for fine tuning the balance between your chat and game volumes.

Team Astro. By far these have been one of the best Mix Amp set I've gotten. Have yet to try the wireless but for now these have done me great.

I’ve used Astro headsets for about 10 years. Very high quality product. They are heavy but the padding makes them feel like clouds on your ears. Sound quality is A+. I actually bought these as a gift because I love mine that much and wanted to share.
