Coming from an Xbox series X owner. They are amazing to have no joke the quality aim these are the best I have ever had and gone though a lot of headsets. It a great product but with its downfalls with its set up. It’s not plug and play and the manual they give doesn’t not help at all!! So for any Xbox owner out there (sorry I don’t know for PlayStation owners could be the same set up) you need to update your mic amp firmware or it will not work at all. I had troubles I download the command center on my computer but the update did not show up even though I detected the mix amp and Astro headset. I found a YouTuber L3G3ND6 who has shared file updates you can download and on the command center you can manually updated the firmware from the download. Here’s the link https://youtu.be/mA2VPeMwdAc Another thing your Xbox has to say headset assigned or you won’t be able to use your mic. If doesn’t show up you have to do eaither a hard reset or a full shut down and unplug the mic amp then reconnect before starting your Xbox on again. This is what worked for me to get it all running. One last thing to add I found out after the fact you can download the command center from the Xbox Microsoft store so if you don’t have a computer by chance maybe giving that a go to see if it will update from there.

Best head phone for Xbox 1 S. How do I know? Because I bought this for my son for a Christmas gif and o boy does he remind me all the time how much better the audio is.

Quality and sound are top notch for gaming. Got these on sale and upgrading from the 2013 model. What a difference! I love them! The only thing that isnt great is the software. It doesnt work at all on pc. Other than that they are great!

The mixamp really helps you get spot on to what you wanna hear and how loud and different types of hearing. Overall great purchase for me first pair of wired headphones in a couple years.

So my coworker recommended these to me and boy was he right. Great Openback headphones and a excellent mixer to go with. Comfortable and good sized if you have a massive head like me. Only thing I will say is that you need to connect it to a computer to update the headset when setting up. Other than that amazing headset

The mix amp sells it all the old a-40s don’t compare the mix amp is easy of use and the headset in black is cleaner the overall product of the A-40s and the new mix amp sell it to me

These are top of the line for a reason. Can't go wrong with these If your looking for high quality sound for gaming. A bit on the pricey side but definitely worth the money.

Great headset for the people who play PC call of duty for footsteps and direction

Audio wise is great, if you are using it on a small setup like a desk is great. If you have console in a space like a living room there is too much cable clutter.

I wouldn't buy for Xbox series x. You have to update firmware for it to work. Once I figured that out, the mic wasn't working. I had to do a hard reset with the Xbox to get it to work. Then it worked for a day then had to do another hard rest because the mic wouldn't work. Also for the price I would like for them to have Bluetooth for connecting to my iPhone, but you have to use an aux cable, that's kinda a thing of the past. They had Great sound though, and they were super comfortable. But not worth the headache for how much they cost that's why I gave it two stars. I'm returning these and going to order the turtle beach elite pro 2's off Amazon seeing how those work out.

Works amazing on the xbox series x, pc and steamdeck! Audio is crisp and clear controls and firmware updating are fast and simple. Very comfortable! I have purchased plenty of headsets over the years and this one is by far the best hands down! You can also find lots of customizable parts online!

I have been a loyal Astro Gaming customer since the original a40's and I must say when it comes to gaming headsets ASTRO is as good as it gets I wouldn't consider any other brand.

A little on the expensive side but they work perfectly fine. I good quality headset when its on sale
