Amazing headset, been using the a40’s for over 3-4 years, HIGHKY RECOMMEND for an above average game !

Such an amazing product. Worth every penny. The only downside the mic won’t work if you don’t update the firmware. If you have a PC or Labtop lying sound, just download the ASTRO command center. From there it will update the firmware and afterwards your mic will work. This is only if you decide to use the Mixamp. All in all, still a great purchase.

These headphones are amazing! I specifically play call of duty games so having the mix amp helps for adjusting the sound for footsteps and game volume.

If you're into gaming and wants to hear footsteps clearly--then buy this. Not only that though, this headset has pretty good sound quality. 9/10

Astros have been the most comfortable headsets I've owned in a while . I had these back in the day tried out so others. These are worth the money

After original A40's i tried my luck with different premium headset brands. Now I am back with the new generation of A40s and I probably will never leave astro again.

Headphones sounds great the quality is good but as far as using the amplifier for my head on my Xbox it doesn’t work. I’ve tried everything even using a P.C to update it but it just wont work so I have to use it through my controller.

Takes some considering with an Series X, this device was out well before the XBox Series X. I connect the USB into the XBox, and the Optical into the TV. USB alone works, but doesn't sound as good. Astro provides an adapter that provides the optical+usb but if one had to go that route it may be worthwhile to just consider a newer headset designed for the Series X.

Best competitive gaming headset on the market for over a decade. The Astro A40s are second to none when it comes to sound quality and comfort. Yeah the A50s are great for wireless but these are even better and you never have to worry about a dead headset. I’ve had three or four of these over the years and have never had an issue.

Headset audio quality is excellent, great lows and highs. Love listening to music with these headphones in addition to playing games.

Very pleased way better than turtle beach 800. Comes with free 2 year Dolby atmos makes a difference . Mixer controller is easy to use

These are hands down the best headphones I have purchased up. I just upgraded to the new mix amp from a previous a40’s and it was well worth it.

Make sure to have a computer to upgrade your software and able to change up how you want it to sound

Definitely the best sounding headphones on the market. Great for Tournament play, too many wires for at home gaming.

I use these for Xbox and for PC. I've purchased several headsets and keep coming back to these. The comfort is legit. The sound is adjustable and the Mixamp gives you the versatility to have multiple audio sources and adjust the output if you wish to record/stream your gameplay.
