Good sound quality and is quite comfortable however it had a defect which after some research seems to be quite common. After a few days of use the left ear makes a horrible ringing noise from the moment it’s turned on to when it’s turned off. The base station though convenient is also a little gimmicky compared to the old audio interface they provided in the past. In the end I probably wouldn’t have returned them if they didn’t make that awful ringing noise.

A50s are great headset pricey but not as much as steelseries which aren’t all that they’re hyped to be. I’m using mine on ps5 with adaptor piece it would be great if PS would add the fiber optic port back to ps5 but that’s another issue. Sound is great just have to make sure you YT/TikTok for some setting adjustments. My CONS: the headband which always has a tendency to come part is very annoying the headband used to stay in place in earlier gen2/3/4 models (I’ve had them all) but over years it’s become very flimsy, I’ve swapped it out 3x at bestbuy for this issue but ended up using zip ties to keep it in place.. The ear cups are comfortable but it’s better to get the mod kit if you like to hear footsteps in FPS/COD games which is currently out of stock..

They look and feel fantastic. Came from the gen 3s, and couldn’t be happier. I love that they’re all black now. The look less “games” to me. The base station has weight to it and is nice and small. Incredibly comfortable. Highly recommended!

Listen these are PHENOMENAL! Hands down the best headset I ever put on on my head from the tempur pedic pillows I mean the cushions that sit on your ears are just amazing. I had the Artics Pro Wired Gamedac for 6 months before these. I could've went and purchased the wireless version of the headset because my whole main reason for getting the astro a50s was because I wanted to go wireless but wanted to make sure I had to best thing for my money on he market as a gamer I like to be comfortable and I enjoy high end things I mean who doesn't if you earn what you get but listen the sound the build the comfort all out due the Artics or any other headset plug it up update the software and you can literally put it in home mode tournament mode streaming mode just get it.

These headphones are great but not good enough for me to justify the price vs my cloud II headphones from 2016. They are super comfortable and they sound better than t beaches I’ve had up to $150-$175 I couldn’t hear foot steps any sooner than my cloud II and I tried my daughter arctic 9’s and I think think they sound equal or better for less. Forza sounds good also just not a lot better. Overall I’d say these headphones are great at a $150-$200 price point

Bought these in 2020, still going strong. I have been using these on PC but it is very easy to switch them to console. I have been a fan of Astro for a few years now, starting with the Astro A40TR's and have been a fan since. These are definitely a higher price point than most would want to spend but I believe you get what you pay for. These are easy to use and you can adjust the sound settings with the Astro app on PC. The sound is great, having good highs and lows, good bass, and solid mic quality. The new base is great compared to the last versions. There is times where it won't connect when you set the headset in the base but just wriggling it around fixes that.

Amazing sound, sleek design, comfortable to wear. Makes games sound incredible and can be used for watching TV and movies. This is my 3rd pair of Astro 50 headphones and by far the best yet. Pricey - but worth it.

Overall a great piece. I've tried several different headsets and this one takes the cake. The sound quality, both mic and ear, are phenomenal. I don't ever miss foot steps and don't have to worry about my team not hearing me. The mic is crisp and clear. I use the mic for Twitch streaming and never have any complaints from viewers, or my team on discord. The headset is very comfortable, I can wear it all day. The pads are soft and allow your ears to breath, all while canceling out outside noise. Would definitely recommend.

Light weight, very comfortable. Padding is super soft and very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. Crazy good battery life and spud quality is amazing as well. Microphone is clear as well.

Pros: comfy, long-lasting, sounds good enough Cons: poor product design/finish quality For $250, I expect a product to last longer than a year and a half. This product was not designed with expertise and failed to account for the fact that it would be in constant contact with human hair and skin. The finish paint and cushion adhesive are not oil-resistant, and therefore break down over normal use. The paint flakes off and sticks to your head, face, clothes, keyboard, desk, etc. and the pad just falls off. This major flaw in this product, Astro's abysmal customer service about it, is why I won't purchase another Astro product.

Great headset and it works easily with the astro pro app. Not hard to find custom settings for popular games through search engines and social media. The range is great too. I was easily able to walk out into the back yard and still talk with the guys without losing signal. Only problem is that they can become uncomfortable over time and the center piece that is removable on the top band is flemsy

Astro A50 has always been satisfying to me for audio quality. This head set is no exception. I like the updated base because it has a smaller footprint on the shelf. It will work with the Xbox series x and s you just have to update it through a computer. Only problem I have is the top cushion comes off and does not stay on at all.

Great sound. No distortion or anything when you have a loy going on. It seems to interfere with the Yeti X microphone, a lot. Woukdnt suggest the combo, battery life is great, doc makes it even easier to charge as well. They're very comfortable and durable. I dont regret getting these but the price is definitely a but steep for what it comes kitted with

These headphone feel and sound AMAZING!! I have been using the steelseries arctis pro’s and those sound great and feel alright but the setup with the dac was confusing and the design of the headphones put a lot of stress on one part of the plastic and eventually it broke. Also it was wired. These Astro A50’s are nothing like that; the build quality and ease of setup is phenomenal. The mic is way better for my expectations of a wireless headset. Recommend highly if you can afford it tho, hefty pricetag. The price and how the setup wasnt very detailed were the only cons. The pc eq settings were easy to use!

Comfortable for long gaming sessions and the battery life to go with it. Sounds are clear and crisp and love the custom tuning aspects for specific games through the astro app.

Overall a really great headset. Amazing sound quality, comfort and decent battery life.

I went from the A40s to these, only major difference is these are wireless. But these are amazing headsets sound is perfect and the fit super comfortable

Amazing when they work 100%. Have a common problem of having connection issues and also having a part of the headband popping out of place. BUT…when you have a pair that works perfectly. It’s a game changer.

I used a gen 1 Astro A50 for close to 10 years, and it was a dependable headset with great sound quality. When it was time to finally update to a newer headset, there was no question it was going to be another A50. It's super easy to set up and use. The battery life seems to be plenty long and I never ran into a situation where I had to take a break and charge, even through full-day music sessions while working from home (though I only used for a few days before returning them - who knows if that holds up over time). The headset was very comfortable when I first put it on, which lasted for about an hour, until the pad on the headstrap suddenly snapped out of place in the middle of a game. It doesn't look like anything is broken - this piece is meant to come out by design, so you can buy Astro's $40 mod kit! However, this piece is impossible to hold back in place. You think you have the clips in where they need to be, go to put it on your head, just for it to fall out again. I finally gave up with it and used the headset without the pad, but within 10 minutes it becomes uncomfortable. I check online to see if I'm just missing something but there's so many people with the same problem that I feel stupid for not being aware of it before I purchased it. The only "fix" available is to glue/tape it, buy a mod kit, or fight with Astro support to get a replacement (hopefully it doesn't have the same problem). I would expect design issues like this from a cheap headset, but for $300? You're better off with a Corsair or Steelseries. Really disappointed to see that Astros aren't what they used to be.

First off let me say this are the most comfortable headset out in the market right now I’ve tried so many headsets trying to find the best sounding gaming headset the sound is immersive the build quality is premium the charging cradle is the best part of this headset. I tried alternatives so that i wouldn’t have to pay the $300 price tag but all other headsets sound flat and there all build cheap the only headset with a good build quality was the arctis 7..again if you want immersive sound go with this headset if you dont want to spend allot of money look around because they do have budget headsets but do your research first. Again if you willing to spend $300 on a headset this is it honestly you wont be disappointed.
