    I bought the ASUS monitor... What a horrible fiasco. The audio stopped working the first day. I spoke to support and was told I had to take it to BestBuy for repair. I told him thanks but I'm returning it in. I do not recommend it at all.

    It. Just. Stopped. Working.

    We've purchased Asus products before without issue so we didn't expect anything would go awry with this purchase. Well, just about a week ago the monitor stopped working. It would come on when the computer booted up, work for about 2 minutes then go dark. It just quit. We are past the return window so now we're stuck with this thing. It is in our home office and gets used about twice per week. It was not dropped nor abused in any way. Now I'm out $160 and need to spend more to get a replacement.

    The monitor itself is fine but the webcam is the worst quality webcam I have ever seen. Extremely grainy video to the point that you can't even use it.

      Please follow FAQ first; [LCD Monitor] Troubleshooting - No Sound/Speaker Noise/Abnormal Voice/Cannot control volume
      Check that the OSD -> Volume -> Source (HDMI or Line in?) If audio cable is plug to Line in, select Line in
      If HDMI, select HDMI
      Verify that the audio cable is plug into the PC/system/laptop's headphone/audio output jack to the VP278QG audio input.
      Verify in Windows Sounds -> Playback, the audio headphone/audio output or HDMI is "Set as Default" and "Set as Communication Default".
      Test the monitor on another system.
      If both are set and still no audio, please RMA the monitor.

    I am so pleased with the monitor. It allows me to video visit with friends and family. Hook up was so easy with the HDMI cable. The screen is clear and not to big. It's been a joy to work with. The only thing is it would be nice to have a finger tip volume control. Great product.

    Viewing screen isn't adjustable

    The monitor sits at a weird angle and isn't adjustable so I have to keep something under the front of the base so it sits straight on the desk. I wouldn't have purchased it if I had known.

    Defective HDMI port

    The product came defective. The HDMI port wasn’t working. Tried with multiple PCs and cables. Ended up returning it in a couple of days. Best Buy charged a fee for the return which is equally disappointing.

    Very disappointing... Built-in camera stopped working after a month, built-in mic very low quality... Nearly impossible to get tech support from ASUS

    You have to change the screen settings every time you get on it. Had I known that I would not have purchased. Otherwise it's a good monitor, vibrant color and great sound

    Waste of money

    Not sure if the reviews posted for this product were bought or made up because my experience with it is quite the opposite. Not all the cables were included. Sound is barely audible and customer service consists of blogs for gaming. I would recommend people do not buy this product.
