I purchased a new gaming desktop with a i7 processor and 1080ti graphics card. Needless to say, I have a system capable of playing games on max settings. I was waiting a monitor to do that power justice. This entry-level monitor does its job. Yes you can get a monitor for $300+, $400+, but should you spend the money if you just a novice PC gamer? I would err on the side of no. If you have the money go ahead and spend that much, but this ASUS monitor looks amazing and performs amazing. The refresh rate will be sutitable for all your games on the right desktop. No lag noticed.

Good quality and always serve my expectations... I love it

After reading lots and lots and lots of reviews I finally decided to spend the extra money on this monitor instead of the slightly less expensive 144hz monitor. I made the right decision. I didn't think 144hz would make that big of a difference over the standard 60hz, but wow it's so smooth. One of these days I'll get an nvidia gpu and try out the 3d. You will need to adjust some color settings to make them more accuratem. I tried following some guides online but they weren't at all good on mine. So maybe they updated something inside the monitor? Idk either way I highly recommend making the jump to 144hz if you're playing fps games.

this is a great monitor for the money. I switched to this monitor from a 60Hz and jump is amazing. No ghosting, no lag, excellent resolution and clarity and very good color. Overall very pleased with this purchase.

This monitor is simply amazing! Gaming with the settings at 144hz is amazing. PC gaming has already ruined me on console gaming and this monitor solidified the case. Simple plug and play setup. At $200 it was a no brainer.

This is an excellent choice for a gaming monitor for the price point. Bright screen with fast refresh & response time. Added bonus is the vertical rotation of the screen. Pick it up on sale for the best price, you won't regret it!

This monitor is the perfect size in my opinion for gaming. Got a really good deal with the price. Overall if you need a monitor that isn't crazy expensive or huge, I'd go with this one.

The monitor display quality is great, 1ms 144hz. Has a good adjustable base and some basic cord management. The only drawback is the built in speakers. When running heavy 3d graphics there is interference, the speakers have a constant hum. If you want to use this monitor for gaming you will need a set of external speakers.

This monitor is very well priced for the quality of it. The only thing that disappointed me with this monitor it does not have an optical audio port.

The refresh rate is what i purchased this one for. It is a great monitor for gaming. You get great fps on this one, ofcourse the graphic card has a role to play, but still a good one

I bought this for my son for Christmas. He has a decent gaming computer and needed a new monitor to keep up with his high end graphics card. We did a lot of research and found this to be the best out there for the money.
