Great picture and refresh rate!!! Definitely recommend to anyone looking to get into pc gaming

144hz is a completely different experience from the traditional 60hz. This is an amazing monitor and great for competitive shooters.

I like this monitor. I purchased it for playing games. It's really amazing.

Bought this monitor for the purpose of 144hz gaming. It's a great product when it actually worked. After gaming on it for about 3-4 months on a 3 monitor setup, the monitor refused to come on. Thought it was the cable so I ordered a very expensive one only to receive the same message, no signal displayport. Plugged it into every other port on back an it gave a signal. Took the monitor to a repair shop to get tested only for them to confirm the displayport had burnt out, sending no signal even after they tested on a multimeter. I used to cherish ASUS for all their products but after this situation I realize ASUS products are limited. The monitor still works you just can't play anything over 60hz because of the HDMI frame limitation. ASUS thanks for 4 great gaming months.

Its an alright monitor if you're seeking getting into gaming for the first time.

Was on the edge about buying a new monitor for my gaming PC and I decided to pick this one up. I was instantly able to tell a difference and see that this is a quality product, sharp looking. In every game I have tried so far, the graphics are improved and response time is incredible. would recommend to anyone playing CSGO

Crisp and clear picture and great for games! Upgraded from a very old model and I'm just impressed with how much color I've been missing and how vibrant games can pop! The ability to move the screen upward and downward along with the swivel base is big extra points!

I am a very very input lag sensitive gamer. My friends who play xbox on hdtvs don't really know what I'm talking about when I talk about am hd lag. I noticed it ever since I played on a non crt television. having said that this is the best non CRT I have played on yet. When I play on my lcd television, its not playable for me. Most of the other LCDs are un playable as wellbut I do quite well on this. I am still able to notice a slight delay, but like I said it's playable. I haven't found an HDTV that's faster than this one.

After hooking up the monitor with a DVI-D cable, my son and I were initially very impressed with the picture quality. Our goal was to be able to play games like Geometry Dash with no lag. We read the instructions and set the refresh rate to 144 hz. Unfortunately we still saw some lag and more troubling was when the screen suddenly went to a million vertical lines and could not recover. This happened once while playing the game, once while opening the Power Director software and would consistently happen when trying to play certain YouTube videos.I called and worked with ASUS support and after making sure drivers were up to date, etc he figured perhaps it was just a bad unit. I returned it and haven't yet decided what to buy. I am curious if the monitor jist doesnt play nice with the graphics card our PC has (AMD Radeon HD 7700). Not sure what to think.

This seems like an ok monitor, however, for $300 I would expect it to come with some type of program to allow you to easily adjust the settings. Speaking with customer service at ASUS, you must change and tweek all of the thousands of setting combinations by using the buttons on the monitor itself; we all know what a pain that is between figuring out which button does what and constantly hitting the wrong ones. For a $300 monitor I would expect at least the setting support that I got with my previous $100 monitor (There is a settings control app produced by ASUS but this monitor is not supported). That being said, all of the nifty features you read about on the box, you have to adjust them manually through the monitor buttons every time you want to use them. For $300 there should be an easier way to setup and control this monitor.

I picked up this monitor in place of a Acer GN246HL that developed some bad pixels. I can't say I'm disappointed in this purchase. It's a much sturdier and well made product. Very easy to set up and has a wide range of options.

really good monitor and the price is right for what your getting

This is one of the best monitors I've ever purchased. I love the crisp detail, and the ability to tilt and rotate when I please. The high refresh rate is pretty sweet too. All my games look much better now.
